Update 16 - 2016 FF The Year of Dream
SPOTLIGHT: No spotlight this turn, sorry!
Global News: The rivers are drying up fast. The lack of rainfall has caused the waterflow to ebb and sink. Right now, the effects are minimal, but if this continues it will most likely mean a massive drought that will dry up the entire Southern Continent.
Islands: Wu'di has finally collapsed into Civil War. After the Southern and Western Wu'di allied, it was too much for the factions to remain peaceful. A great naval battle was fought in the center of the archipelago. The destruction was a pleasing sight for the Felaskhari Sealords. Most of the Wu'di navy is now only driftwood on the waves, and many Adept Soldiers also perished in the battle. As for the mareghar, they have entered a rebuilding process to increase the stability and population.
Lirkland: Pashawan is enjoying another year of peace and prosperity. The fact that the kingdom is fruitful (pun intended) has attracted the attention and envy of the Cairens, who are pressing the Governor to merge the two nations. The drought has weighed heavily on the already densely populated Cairo, and things are looking rather grim for Terrator. Rollux is still closed for the world, but more rumors about undeads are spreading...
Clous: Clous has begun a work of monumental dimentions. It is called the Godsphere, but exactly what it does remains secret... Also, the Weather Adepts have formed a new elite unit, which is reputed to have a very strange and unique form of magic...
Steppes: Shaba has finally worked their magic (pun intended) and created a heat-resistant crop. The plant is now being spread to every cornor of their nation, and people are expecting this to relieve the hard times with food rationings. Still, the drought is far from over, and the future may call for further innovations.
Heartlands: The once warlike Ramon has entered what they call an Era of Peace. Economic growth is encouraged, and the people are thriving despite the receding rivers. Still, this build-up cannot last forever, and desperate times will surely call for more warfare. It remains to be seen what role Ramon will play in the dark future.
Western Shelf: The Academy of Fire, which was inprinted by Sethy with explosive runes, well, explodes. The scrolls and books are yet again forever lost. This second (third?) betrayal has caused even more anger in Soltyria, and the King has declared eternal war on Benethrezim and Seth Dethos. This was after the former issued an order for Sethy to be handed out to Soltyria for a public execution.

This was naturally refused, and the King has gone rampant with death threats and seething diplomatic correspondance. The Council is still recovering from this last blow, yet there is one reason to celebrate: the capture of one Solid Snake...
Shaemar has gone forth to battle the hordes of evil undead. the undead proved rather dull to fight, with Shezmon doing most of the work. His dragon magic incinerated and destroyed vast masses of undead in majestic shows of magic power and might. The army that followed him were mainly trying to hinder the mindless abominations from reaching Shezmon, which they succeeded. Still, there are many more undead to be exterminated, and the work is far from done. The Soltyrian army that went to Shaemar to defend them went home without seeing any action. A pity, since the last recruitment of Shire Pikemen was indeed the larges one ever made, and the army of Soltyria is now a fearsome one. Surely they will be able to show their might when they march against Benethrezim...
More will come. I just posted this now to make sure my record is clean. I've got ten minutes as I write this! I hope I make it!
EDIT: AND I MADE IT!
