I feel a bit cheated because I took measures against the drought before last update. In my orders then, I decreed channels to be built to make sure my farms got enough water from the rivers, but it seems like a higher power is working against my intentions. Or maybe, even better, one of Silvers owls ate my orders so they never got to the department of agriculture :s

You've got canals, alright. Or I would've moved New Gardens. But you cannot make channels that are, what, a hundred miles long? The Steppes were largely arid even before the drought. And the reason Pashawan is doing so good compared to you is that he has Nature magic.

Ultimately, some things are decided by the dice.

If you would notice we dont have the Academy of Water either.(I couldnt train any more RoTS) What you took was the real one. But the Morag Tong corrupted and encrypted the knowledge as per their orders if the Academy is about to be lost. We perhaps should have informed you, but peace had to be made for the good of the Benethim people.

You have still however recieved Fire Academy, even we could have pulled the plug on that one. So we see no reasons why to whine as you have your academy back and we have lost one.
