Luck, Power and Skill
Win'da was traveling back from the location selected for his learning Earth Magic from the great and powerful Scrotum. It seemed to him like Scrotum was overrated though, as learning the had been simple. Win'da raised mountains when asked to raise knolls. He moved boulders when Scortum wanted a pbble levitated. Scrotum had been amazed by his, oh what had Scrotum said, "potential". It had come so naturally to him, he felt the Earth flow through him, like the sky did, like the Weather did. It was a feeling of glee, of pureness. He felt whole and complete. He stopped by a village that was dry and desolate. A little boy with a tear shoked face sat and cried.
Win'da was moved and he stopped. "Whats Wrong little Boy?"
The little boy looked up, "I'm So thirsty. The well dried up and Momma says the whole village is going to die!" He burst into tears. Win'da was strickne by the boys grief, but he remembered who he was. Surely the Sky God had led him here so he could use his gifts. Of Course!
He looked to the young boy with a Santa Claus smile, "Do you know what magic is?"
The boy looked up at him, "Momma says it is a vile power of dictators and opressors. He says its the reason Daddy died."
Win'da was taken aback, "Well," he had to pause, he couldn't think of a better explaination then action, "You just watch, I'll show what magic is capable of."
Win'da sat on a nearby rock and crossed his legs. He place his hands on his robed knees. His eyes clouded over white. In the sky out of nowhere clouds began to form, dark cloud. All at once they let out a down pour of rain. The ground turned to mud, and the little boy laughed and giggled as the rain continued. He slide in the mud, rolled around. The villagers ran out too and rejoiced. They crowded around Win'da, the Savior of their village.
But Win'da was not done. He arose and held his hands up to the air, and then he brought them across his body. A wind pushed the people away from a central spot. Win'da then raised his hands again, and this time brought them down. A perfect well was sunk into the ground, and it began to fill with water. While it was filling, Win'da moved stones through the air and created a guard wall around the opening. When he was done he lowered his hands, and his eye returned to normal. The people were estatic. Wives cried and husbands cried. Children cheered in the streets. A small boy, ominously, would say, "Its a miracle mommy!"
While the townsmen were preoccupied, a man in a flowing green robe and a funny Green Prism for a hat approached Win'da. He gave off the Aura of being old, but he looked Win'da's age. He came up to Win'da.
"I saw what you did back there."
Win'da was suspiciose because of the mans Aura, "Who are you?"
"Why I am the Healer, of course. I live in the woods, in a clearing. I saw what you did back there. I too know magic. But it is a very powerful thing. It was good of you too use it for good."
The man's Aura suddenly made sense, "Are you a Life Adept?"
The Healer chuckled, "Of course, I thought that was a given. Would you like to join me at my hut for tea and crumpets?"
Win'da nodded in the affirmative and followed the healer.

Win'da and The Healer were at the table. They were in the middle of a lenghtly converastion
"So, Healer, would you teach me Life Magic"
"Please, call me Morpheus. Are you sure you wish to learn life magic. It is very deep, and I will reveal to you mysteries you never dreamed of. I will not teach you spells, only the truth of Life."
"I will learn"
Morpheus reached into his pockets and pulled out a red berry and a blueberry.
"Win'da, you may choose only one berry. The Red one will reveal to you the truth. If you take the Blue one, you will carry as before. You will forget we ever met."
Win'da reached for the Red Berry and Morpheus interjected.
"Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more."
Win'da grabbed the RED(HA) Berry, and put it into his mouth..........
