SSNES: Fall of Wu'di

The first one to badger me about a stat update will be the scapegoat for next update!

So I'm assumng Win'da knows Earth Magic right? Cause I kept my promise. Interesting update....... And who is this most powerful man?

A women with red hair??? What the hell did you do? MERYL!!!

Shezmon is the physical representation of Draconic Magic. he has also learned Death magic. This makes him the most powerful of all men.

And you can only begin to guess, Cleric. ;)

Nevermind. AVOID ENEMY MISSILE ATTACK. Who didnt send orders?

The Paths of the Dead lead to many places, but they are closed to all, save one.

Archmage Riccul, was having a bad day, it would get worse, The sudden appearances of what can only be explained, to his limited mind, as pardoxes in Death magic did not sit well with him. What was worse that it seemed to be embodied in the arrogant man now standing in front of Him.

"Who do you think you Are?" he demanded incredulusly of the man.

He gave a curosy overview of his surroundings. And then Turned his gaze to the Lichlord.

"I," He Stated simply "Am Nagash. You Are my Slave,"

OOC: If cleric can do it, so can I!

*dun dun dun* Shall we do the good old days again?

Warlord Matt? :D

He was a NESer wasnt he? Also I'm sure if your Wraith Knights are violence-depraved we could make a nice deal :mischief:

But Warlord Matt is no longer under King Ramonia's control...

Well I am sure we can all mediate so they are back in service to Ramonia, but they'll have a nice tour of Benethrezim and perhaps even Soltyria :)

Luck, Power and Skill

Win'da was traveling back from the location selected for his learning Earth Magic from the great and powerful Scrotum. It seemed to him like Scrotum was overrated though, as learning the had been simple. Win'da raised mountains when asked to raise knolls. He moved boulders when Scortum wanted a pbble levitated. Scrotum had been amazed by his, oh what had Scrotum said, "potential". It had come so naturally to him, he felt the Earth flow through him, like the sky did, like the Weather did. It was a feeling of glee, of pureness. He felt whole and complete. He stopped by a village that was dry and desolate. A little boy with a tear shoked face sat and cried.

Win'da was moved and he stopped. "Whats Wrong little Boy?"

The little boy looked up, "I'm So thirsty. The well dried up and Momma says the whole village is going to die!" He burst into tears. Win'da was strickne by the boys grief, but he remembered who he was. Surely the Sky God had led him here so he could use his gifts. Of Course!

He looked to the young boy with a Santa Claus smile, "Do you know what magic is?"

The boy looked up at him, "Momma says it is a vile power of dictators and opressors. He says its the reason Daddy died."

Win'da was taken aback, "Well," he had to pause, he couldn't think of a better explaination then action, "You just watch, I'll show what magic is capable of."

Win'da sat on a nearby rock and crossed his legs. He place his hands on his robed knees. His eyes clouded over white. In the sky out of nowhere clouds began to form, dark cloud. All at once they let out a down pour of rain. The ground turned to mud, and the little boy laughed and giggled as the rain continued. He slide in the mud, rolled around. The villagers ran out too and rejoiced. They crowded around Win'da, the Savior of their village.

But Win'da was not done. He arose and held his hands up to the air, and then he brought them across his body. A wind pushed the people away from a central spot. Win'da then raised his hands again, and this time brought them down. A perfect well was sunk into the ground, and it began to fill with water. While it was filling, Win'da moved stones through the air and created a guard wall around the opening. When he was done he lowered his hands, and his eye returned to normal. The people were estatic. Wives cried and husbands cried. Children cheered in the streets. A small boy, ominously, would say, "Its a miracle mommy!"

While the townsmen were preoccupied, a man in a flowing green robe and a funny Green Prism for a hat approached Win'da. He gave off the Aura of being old, but he looked Win'da's age. He came up to Win'da.

"I saw what you did back there."

Win'da was suspiciose because of the mans Aura, "Who are you?"

"Why I am the Healer, of course. I live in the woods, in a clearing. I saw what you did back there. I too know magic. But it is a very powerful thing. It was good of you too use it for good."

The man's Aura suddenly made sense, "Are you a Life Adept?"

The Healer chuckled, "Of course, I thought that was a given. Would you like to join me at my hut for tea and crumpets?"

Win'da nodded in the affirmative and followed the healer.
----------------------------------

Win'da and The Healer were at the table. They were in the middle of a lenghtly converastion

"So, Healer, would you teach me Life Magic"
"Please, call me Morpheus. Are you sure you wish to learn life magic. It is very deep, and I will reveal to you mysteries you never dreamed of. I will not teach you spells, only the truth of Life."
"I will learn"
Morpheus reached into his pockets and pulled out a red berry and a blueberry.

"Win'da, you may choose only one berry. The Red one will reveal to you the truth. If you take the Blue one, you will carry as before. You will forget we ever met."

Win'da reached for the Red Berry and Morpheus interjected.

"Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more."

Win'da grabbed the RED(HA) Berry, and put it into his mouth..........

BUT IT WAS TEH BLUE BERRY! :p Seriously. I'm not letting you have Life magic for a measly story!

OWNED! If you could that Reno would already have his pretty little island :p

True. But lovely story anyway, Swiss. :)

Hey, I'm writing 3 stories, and if that doesn't get me life magic:mad:

It doesn't! What did you expect? I've set down the rules pretty clear for what concerns magic. If you want a run through, I can track down the posts I've written about magic over the course of the entire NES for you. But you will not get Life magic because you met a stranger who somehow not only practiced Life magic, but also (obviously, out of your story) has memorized the entire branch. I regret that I have not compiled all the materials on the workings of magic (and I really should have, along with linking to the updates and writing a historic timeline and stuff. *sigh* This is my first NES, and I daresay I have learned a bit about MODing.) but I haven't. So there it is. I can, if you insist, find everything I've written about magic in this NES. But don't expect any storywriting or whinery gives you access to a new branch for free. Period.

Listen to the owl or my Vampyr pay you a visit

For the record, I want to make it clear that I have never promised any story bonuses (check the rules if you want to). That said, I do give out story bonuses occasionally. This is most often in the form that I am "positively inclined" towards the nation played by the storywriter, and rarely confers any eco-wise boost. Also, I've always felt writing stories should come out of a desire to describe one's nation or actions in detail, rather than as a means to get up and ahead. Basically, it's STORYWRITING, not bonushunting.

EDIT: Now if you all will excuse me, I am hitting the sack for today. I will be gone for most of tomorrow (visiting gramps) so don't expect the stat update in a hurry.

I'm beginning to like this NES again. :) Thanks for the support, you all!
