st444ww1NES: World of Division

Okay then I'll take Sweden

Dude, you need to read the threads. Spain has been taken, and it is called Iberia.

Sweden has been taken. Read the post carefully.

before posting, doublecheck the nation is not taken

I will take Italy.
China444,Sorry about that! ;)

Who are you Stailin006?

You are the Holy Empire of Germany,my enemy, because i am in the Marsallies Coaliton!

OOC: Please don't do wat you did with Gelion's nes here... please don't go all technical and talk about the Hellcats, or something like that, as that's really confusing....

France formally opposes the idea of the United Nations. It is an affront to the sovreignity of the nations of the world. I refuse to have any French actions double checked by so mischievious a body.

OOC: Dude, this is before a WW1, let me just tell you that there is not a chance in hell that a nation would have seen enough threat in war to justify a UN of any sort. The Church has probably lost its powers of coercion over nations, if this is anything like RL then we've just had a long peace of a half century, nothing really big since Napoleon, and aren't really afraid of war, simply jingoistic. I understand that you might not understand the mechanisms of History but I know that das does, and he allegedly made this game. All of this is moot conjecture though, because I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORIC BACKGROUND HERE. It makes no sense, it is an affront to my intelligence. I believe that Amon was right when he said craptastic. I will remain though, because I still have business to attend to with the Dutch and Russians.

The history comes tomorrow with the update.

Besides not knowing the background history, what else makes this craptastic?

1. There is no concievable way that France has the 4th worst economy in the world.

2. Stock Rules, there is nothing innovative about anything, furthermore they are rather barebones.

3. Economic system, I'm not the first to have brough this up.

4. I don;t know anything about my nation. Why do we do what we do? How can I write a story without any basis? I could have pulled something out of my arse to explain virtually everything, but now you're doing something tomorrow and I don't want to contradict that.

5. You lack any real knowledge of political-historical mechanisms. Understandably we all screw up on this, our biases screw us up on it, but you lack even a coherent bias. What caused our WW1? If you do not understand the motions of history which caused the war to be fought on so grand a scale, then how can you mod a historical NES based in that time period?

-

I'm sorry if I'm brutal, sorry if I come off as being elitist, I am not so, I am not saying that you cannot mod an NES without a bachelors in history, I am saying that you need to have some idea before you try a historical exercise like this.

and citys............ it says u get an economy by taking a city?, why are there so many citys in africa? and in alaska and siberia?

To Iberia:

Iberia has taken commitment to the Imperial League, and now that the imperial league is been attacked by the Marsailles Coalition you refuse to take your part in our alliance? please explain yourself!

Italy has attacked Austro-Hugary! how can you claim we are not at war?

Iberia wa sunder the impression that actual national hostilties ha dnot broken out, but that Itallian partisans were merelyl fighting for the rejonign of north italy to the rest of the Itallian nation, but that the government of ital yitself, wa snot responisble for it. Iberia wa sunder the impression that, whiel the contenent is under the threat opf war, and actiosn to provoke war had been taken, war itself was not underway.

*anyway* okay, so the alliances are indeed at war; our mistake for not reading the introduction, btu going on the assumption, base don the threads title, that we woudl get to decuide the allainces ourselves, and trump up our own excuses for war.
