Star Wars Fans!

That's thread jacking dude - get lost.

My favorite Star Wars movie so far is Empire - hands down.

I've read spoilers on the new film and even considering my let downs from the last two, I'm more then confident that it will be at least #2 when all is said & done.

Episode II was best, then probably Episode V.

Empire strikes back was the best. AT-AT's rampaging across Hoth. :yeah:

Empire was the best because Lucas knew he could make 2 more movies after the unexpected success of the first (Ep IV). That allowed him to let the bad guy win for a change. I mean c'mon, the secret Rebel base gets destroyed, Han gets frozen in carbonite, 3PO looses his limbs, Luke loses his hand, then finds out Vader's his father - and is shown Vader's undeniable power time & time again.

I think Ep III could top it, based on spoilers I've read - but something tells me the hype will drop it to 2nd, maybe even 3rd. One thing for sure is that the fights will make Ep II's look like child's play.

While I & II were visually stunning, it was little more than eye candy for me. Although Yoda light saber fighting with Doku was one of the coolest moments in Star Wars for me.

Favorite? Don't really have one. I have enjoyed them all. Yes, even I & II. (It's what happens when you're not a die-hard fan....but don't get me started on ST!) But the original trilogy is still better, IMHO.

I like Return of the Jedi for the space battle of Endor. It was also the 1st SW movie I sawe in 83 when I was 5 years old.

Empire is cool cause Darth wins and it has Boba Fett, and the AT-ATs, the asteroid feild part.

The old trilogy is very good, but the new films are total pants - Despite the CG expertise.

It was the first move I ever saw at the movies..... except I was 11. And it's still my favourite star wars movie

Episodes IV to VI, but they spoiled Return of the Jedi with those cutesy Ewoks.

Episodes I to III had flashier graphics, but not as much depth when it comes to story. Plus too commercialized and politically correct.

Am I the only one in the world who didn't like that part?

It was too...it just ruined Yoda for me.
