It's probably the new Capitol menu. Mondays is snow leopard served with a side of the Hope diamond.
:yumyum: And a dessert of stem cells.

After the speech:

Bush: Speaker Pelosi, what do you think about the policies I outlined?
Pelosi: You were speaking? Sorry, but I was reading Harry Potter and couldn't hear a word you said...

Harry Potter looks too much like Mitch McConnell, so I doubt she'd read it.

He also tried to bring up irq al quadia ties

Congress isn't childish enough?

as I recalled there were some applause when bush said if we don't renew the patriot act then it will go away before he finished his sentence saying it was a bad thing for it to not be renewed. while not boos still pretty childish:lol:

Well, at least he has yet gone on a ten minute tangent telling us how Sue DeBlue in Kansas saved a bunch of money when she switched to Geico.

Would you prefer the Communist Manifesto? :mischief:

Gotta play the part.

Anyway, if Bush knows all of this about Iran, why doesn't he just ask Congress to invade already? Jesus, he is making it sound like Tehran is doing much worse than Baghdad did pre-2003.

"America opposes genocide in Sudan"

Great! Glad to hear it. Now what are we going to do about it? We don't have the manpower to pacify Iraq, hunt for bin Laden in Afghanistan, invade Iran and peacekeep in Sudan...

It's a pity the UN can't get off their butts and do what they are supposed to do. I suspect that Germany and France have more than enough troops to handle this one. Why should the US do it alone if the UN won't? Seems that last time the US acted without UN approval we got slammed for it.
