Chronicles of Anyang: Affairs of the Heart

On the balcony over looking the Evening Garden of the White Lotus, the Yellow Emperor sat in repose; Luo Zu, his young bride, sat opposite; their feet almost touched.

Luo Zu: My Lord will you listen?
Huang Di: Of course my love.
Luo Zu:
Cuiv our goddess of the night
Whose brightness now is our delight
As on your appointed path you glide
And hallowed light no longer hide;
Blessings to our people bring
As from our hearts to thee we sing.

Huang Di: I never tire of your voice. Will you sing again?

As Lou Zu sang the verse again, her toes wiggled and touched the Emperors' whose mind was lost in the sweetness of her voice.

OOC: All previous posts apply. What a wonderful surprise tonight. :)

This will reopen some time very soon. Anyone may reclaim nations they previously held. I will do the NPC stats I never got around to by the end of this weekend. I will also eventually need new sets of orders from everyone; the next update will probably be next weekend.
HALLELUJAH! You just saved my day :D

orders coming soon i hope, If I still have them.

btw, how many horsemen can we get for a eco. point?

500, I think. (Subject to change, though not radical change.)

@Israelite9191: That's too bad :( You will be missed.

Maybe I'm misremembering my guidelines. Horsemen are a lot more effective than other forces, though. I'll say 1,000.

Edit: For Rome, 750. I gave 1,000 to Anyang for one economy, but Anyang is Chinese and thus naturally has a higher population and army size, at least for now. (This also means that one Anyang soldier is mildly less effective than one Roman soldier.) 500 would probably be for a relatively undeveloped nation.

I think Ill come back, but to be honest I dont even remember my nation :p

My people will work hard to keep our population growing. ;)

Thank you all for returning! Those of you who are returning (and not new players), your nations are still listed under PCs in the second post.

Are you accepting any new players to replace those not returning?

Certainly. I'll keep previously PC nations reserved until Wednesday.

I'll have the rest of the NPC stats up tomorrow, I think. I was out most of the day today.

Greek NPCs are up. Middle Eastern and African NPCs are coming within a couple of hours. I'll probably get all NPCs done tonight, but I might have to leave East Asia for tomorrow.

Birdjaguar, does the diplomacy before this closed still remain in effect?
As far as Anyang is concerned yes.

Spoiler :
Should you want to become a protectorate of the Sage King, I would consider it. :mischief:

A refresher, Lord of Biwa and the Japans

Chronicles of Anyang: Book 1
Court Procedings of Huang Di

The Yellow Emperor: Li approach! Still no news from Biwa?
Councilor Li: Why Sire I was just on my way to tell of the ship that arrived on this morning’s tide.
The Yellow Emperor: A courier? A message? A ship has made the passage! Quickly man, tell me all, or tomorrow you’ll be my furrier.
Councilor Li: Sire, may I approach a bit?
The Yellow Emperor: Of course my man!
Councilor Li: [whispers]
The Yellow Emperor: Trade!
Councilor Li: [whispers]
The Yellow Emperor: Embassy!
Councilor Li: [whispers]
The Yellow Emperor: Prosperity for all!
Councilor Li: Yes my Lord.
The Yellow Emperor: Tell the Queen!
Councilor Li: Yes my Lord.
The Yellow Emperor: The east is won
By good relations with the Morning Sun;
Spread the news, tell the Queen
Then back to court where you’ll be seen,
And I will speak as your King
To get us started in this trading thing;
Take the list of their needs
Put some riders on our fastest steeds
Seek the goods and merchants wily
Stamp this treaty with my smiley. :)
