Chronicles of Anyang: Affairs of the Heart
On the balcony over looking the Evening Garden of the White Lotus, the Yellow Emperor sat in repose; Luo Zu, his young bride, sat opposite; their feet almost touched.
Luo Zu: My Lord will you listen?
Huang Di: Of course my love.
Luo Zu:
Cuiv our goddess of the night
Whose brightness now is our delight
As on your appointed path you glide
And hallowed light no longer hide;
Blessings to our people bring
As from our hearts to thee we sing.
Huang Di: I never tire of your voice. Will you sing again?
As Lou Zu sang the verse again, her toes wiggled and touched the Emperors' whose mind was lost in the sweetness of her voice.
