The kings of Erin, leaders of the many clans, gathered on top of the Hill of Tara to choose a new leader. The greatest druid of the Emerald Isle stood waiting to perform the opening rights to Medb, the Goddess Queen. As the various Kings gathered around in great cirle, the druid, heir to Amergin, sacfificed five sheep to Medb and then roasted the meat. The kings ate of the holy meat in sacred supper. After the meal each king walked up to the Stone of Fal, one of the Four Treasures of the Tuatha De Danann, which screms whenever touched by the rightful High King, and touched the stone. The stone screamed for none until Cormac Mac Art stood from thw table. When he had barely brushed his fingers against the cool stone's surface, the stone loud out a roar louder than any bom of thunder that any of the Kings had heard. Four months later, on the knight of Samhain when the worlds of spirits and men are closest, the new High King was officially corronated and the lavish festivitites, of both Samhain and a coronation, took place under the fool moon side by side with those that left this Earth so many years ago.

After many centuries as a colony, the people of Cyprus were beginning to grow weary of the Mycenians. People who had once been their brethren were now seen as cold, uncaring overlords. In the year 2012 BC, Cyprus defied Mycenae by declaring independance, electing its own council, and seizing any Mycenian ships in the harbour.

The ragtag fleet and a few hundred militia anxiously awaited the retaliation of the Mycenian army. But it never came, for as the Cypriots discovered later, just around that time many Mycenian states separated themselves from the aging empire. Trebizond was the first, and Cyprus followed just a few years later, although neither former colony was aware of their ideal timing until centuries later. There were many smaller colonies that followed after Trebizond, but all failed, whether through starvation, invasion, or collapse into barbarism.

Mycenae is now a dead civilization, or at least on its last legs. All that remains is the weakened capital, which is likely to fall into barbarian hands very soon. But the two surviving colonies are thriving, and the world is entering a new age.

Update Today!

No One in China and I prefer not creating 5 NPC's for 1 player.

Egypt. One of the oldest civilizations on earth. Governed by the regular rising and falling of the great river Nile. Unified over a thousand years ago, when most of today's so-called civilizations were mere tribes and nomads struggling to eke out a meager existence, while the Egyptians grew crops, supported by the mighty Nile. Unified by the Pharaohs, manifestations of the great sun god Ra on earth. God-kings, absolute rulers of Egypt, followed fanatically by their people. The Pharaohs were gods. They could do no wrong.

Six hundred years ago, while other civilizations were struggling to form, Egypt had reached new heights, some said the apex of Egypt. The great pyramid of Khufu, the greatest structure known to man, had been built. No one who saw it could doubt the superiority of the Egyptians, the superiority of the Pharaohs, the superiority of Ra, the great ruling god of heaven and earth.

And then it had all come crashing down. The Nile had not flooded as usual. Chaos tore throught the great Egyptian land. The mighty civilization crumbled, broke up into city-states. It seemed Egypt's darkest hour.

But then a new dynasty rose in Thebes, one blessed by the supreme manifestation of Ra, Amun-Ra, god of air and the sun. In a short time by Egyptian standards, less than a century, this dynasty, the eleventh, had unified Egypt.

Some said Egypt had reached its apex six hundred years ago. But this was false. The Old Kingdom had fallen. But a new one was rising, greater than the last.

Newgrange, built by the fabled Tuatha De Danann, is a sight to behold. Older than the Pyramids, as old as Stonhenge, it is the center of Erin's Druidism. The passage and chamber of Newgrange are illuminated by the winter solstice sunrise. A shaft of sunlight shines through the roof box over the entrance and penetrates the passage to light up the chamber. This light is the sign of the prescence of Oenghus, god of love, on Earth. Cormac Mac Art loved this sight it was the greatest of the megalithic sights of the ancient world. Even Stonehenge and the Pyramids had a hard time competing with quartz crystal walls of this holiest of sites. Cormac Mac Art new that when the time came he was going to turn Newgrange into the greatest religious wonder of the world. He knew it would take work, but anything to please the gods and to bring glory to Erin's shore was worth the effort.

I can't think of a story involving Epirus that doesn't also involve Croton or the Greek city states, which don't exist yet. Dang!

That just seems so unprofessional...but it's not like my ITNES stories are that good, either, just weird.

I could do a polar bear story, though, but those seem to be infecting things lately, ever since ComNES II. Or III. Whatever the WWII one was.

Update I, 2000BC

For many years human kind was not speicel. Like any other animal it expanded the lands it occupies , kept on hunting, breeding etc... All conitnued until some time ago, when civilizations begun to apear. Men was no longer just an animal, it begun to build and prosper...

It all begun far in the north. The first civilization was the Normans. They existed for only 200 years before other none-civilized tribes destoried them. They moved across the seas, for many decades leaving people as they go. This people merged with the uncivilized and new civilizations apeared. The Scots and the Irish people apeared, copying each other to form the first cities the world have seen. They weren't veru succefull and soon another Norman group took the show to their side. Normandy was a true nation with a walled capital and developed agriculture.

Yet the Normans in the north weren't speicel. Soon in all lands people learned that they can think and build. More cities apeared as Egypt and Kerma apeared on the nile and Sameh built it's cities and lands in Iberia. Soon also the Greeks build naval empires and spreaded civilization across the Mediterian sea. The Mediterian passed those Normans and their son-cultures by far more. Developed faster and today the Mediterian is house for countless of Civilizations from the Empire of Antioch to Sameh.

After the Medterian culture built itself up the Mesopotamian nations apeared quickly. Babylonia and Trebizond (a Greek colony actualy) poped out and after them several more nations jumped into existance. The Median people of the far away mountains to the east did not waited for too long and copied the Babylonian culutre quickly.

Now the world stands with countless civilizations some stronger, some weaker, some older, some newer but all are the birth of a new age in human history. The Age of Civilizations. Soon Science catches up with the culture and Iron is smelted across the world... what else will come for this many humans???

OOC: I'll finish NPC stats by tommorow, they will get colors by next update :) thats all I think... Map on next post.
