Stigma against Communism?

Sure I support the Dems over the GOP (Anyone with a brain can see why) but Im not a propaganda victim, I don't even support any party in particular beside the Communist party (but it is rather small and inconspicuous right now), I actually am the treasurer of the Young Communists club on campus, wich is the 3rd largest club in the school, first being the Young Democrats and 2nd being (lol) Spanish Club, it's a fun club I guess.

Anyone with a brain would support the individual politicians based on thier cause rather then based on thier party.

As for me i support neither party. They hold themselves in thier main interests.

I read enough books about black people being beat up and killed and lynched and all that even after the civil rights movement that I do know for a fact that I don't want to go there (and I'm white).

Well that still doesnt make that true for every or most white people in the south.

Well someone had to have earned the money to begin with.

Sure there should be a tax on inheritence but i still dont see it as right to take a large portion of the money and distrubute it as the "government" sees fit. For all we know the taxed or seized money could be spent on the defense budget.

No, cant you see that the things you are reading about and seeing in movies are just the publicized images of racism in the south? For the most part most of the police were not corrupt and did not beat on black people for fun.

The government was corrupt to a certain level, since there was a poll tax and they made it so blacks couldnt vote indirectly. But that has nothing on the common person in the south.

Many of them were racist indeed. But you cant group the whole south into a group and call them all racist. As i said the ones you read about who are racist and the related events were just widely publicized.

Well, I say that some rich kid has no RIGHT to mooch of his successful father for his life living a lavish lifestyle without contributing anything to society. Maybe you don't need hand-out, but others do.

Very few kids are in that situation. As i see it even the rich kids who have rich parents still work because thier parents want them to.

The ones who do mooch arent a major concern because theres so few of them.

You have the right to have a (skewed) opinion. They will lose their money hough. They will put money back into the system bacause of their negligence, and, over time, will lose all their money but will have reinvigorated the economy.

Communism overall is a decent idea, but not great and productive (due to lack of incentive for individual excellence) by any means.

However, I agree with the OP. Americans are generally stupid enough to confuse Communism with Leninism and Stalinism.
