Rome

Rome had begun as but a small settlement on the River Tibur, anf now, now it was perhaps the most vibrent community in all of the italliot peninsula, oh yes thought Regulus, current elected king, Rome was destined for greater glory then to be controller of little latium which it had now...

Regulus looked upon the city, and reflected upon it for a moment, he had been elected king by the nobles of the city and the surrounding areas, which certanlly gave him a stronger abse of power then just being a herditary heir, of which he was in the line of Romulus anyway, but it had always been the Roman tradition to do things more fairlly then it seemed the peoples around them were willing to do, but then most of the peoples around the penesulua were arranged in little city states, cultured- not like the barbarian tribes to the far north- but weak, well, most of them- the Etruscan league, and union of the 12 strongest etruscan citites wasa powerful force in the peninsula, and one that Rome had to be wary of, and yet also needed to look upon for inspiration, as innovation, even if it was by ones current enemys was to to be held in high regard in the Roman mind, and more over, it was thought right that the Romans shoudl attempt to garner that in what has over the Romans, to, if nothing else, even the odds...

but that didnt stop the Etruscans from being a problem to Rome, but Regulus figured he might be able to get the situation his advatge- for many years Romes diplomats had been involved in deligations throught the surrounding country side- that, and limited wars between the city states had all gone in Rmes favor, and t that end Regulus figured that the Etruscans could be added to Rome in much the same way- a mix of politics and war...

it would be first that Romans diplomats woudl treat, despite thier confederation, all the great Wtruscan citites as indipendent entitites, and to that end make treaties and allaiances with them as such, mainlly to help incorperate them into Rome, as each alliance would be forged in a manner that would cumulate in the city being given Roman citizenships, and induction inot Roman lands as an equal, able to send nobles to represetn themselves, and even take part in the election of a king, a most honoured ability in Rome, and a right not to be taken lightlly.

With politics and conquest, divideing and conqoureing, brothership and comrodery, Rome would one day becoem master of the land of bull-calves, Italos, and then, the Romans would would set out to see what there was to see inthe world...

Pheonicia

The small tribes came to the area and settled. They were called Pheonicians and their city was called Tyre.

Tyre was a small city but the Pheonicians also made several other, smaller cities Ugarit and Sidon. Other Pheonicians that were not under the direct control of Tyre settled in the city of Byblos. Those Pheonicians were becoming strong and after some time they succeded to take over Tyre and declear a new Monarchy.

The capital was still Tyre ut the Byblianid Royal Family ages has begun. (OOC: all made up, Pheonicia was started in 1200BC)
The Byblianid family saw the coming of the Cnaan tribes south to them. They were never realy united under one rulership since their coming.
King Malachi decided that his country must not go into wars with the Cnaan people to the south and eastward nothing was seen but deserts. He decided that Phenicia will grow it's lands northward and than it will have to find new lands.

With the beginning of the Expansion north nothing was seen but rumors of people called Hitties begun.

In Tyre the leading education group begun t create the first Phenician boats called Galleys. Those was medium sized ships able to move at shores and to some point at clean quite seas and their weopnse were arrows being fired from the ship.

After Consulting with the prophets the King made his word that the gods wish Pheonicia to control the seas! Immidietly Galleys were being produced.

300 spearmen expand borders to the west
300 spearmen stay in capitol to provide defence and security

EDIT: yikes, this turned out longer then i thought it would.
The House of Roddys
Roddy the second was proud to have his father's name. His father had merged the seperate tribes of his homeland into a single entity. It could not realy be called a nation yet, but it was clearly heading there. No one even thought of fighting their neighbor anymore, and some closeby villages were already starting to combine their militaries for a better combined defence and security.
Roddy knew that to realy set his family firmly in the seat of power of what would soon be a great nation, he needed to continue his father's work, and do it well. He had decided that his contribution to the advancement of the family dream would be to set a precident of merging more then on village under a single leadership. The old tradition of "each village has its own elders and leaders" needed to be curbed if Roddyna was to be truly united.
As he rode on his horse throught the fields that belonged to the small neighboring village of Berezka, he knew that they were a hard working group. The fields were neetly cleared and the hay was stacked in evenly spaced identical heaps that seemed to line the very horizon. He had known that the people of Berezka prided themselves on the quality of their work, and he hoped that they would be willing to accept the protection he was going to offer in exchange for accepting his house as official (if not direct) leadership. His grandfather had once told Roddy II that the process of selecting a tribal leader in Berezka had always been backwards from the other villages. When their current leader died a new one would always be forced into the position by whatever method the village came up with, where as elsewhere there was either a fight for the role, or a son took his father's place as in Roddyna. Vladimir had told him that their work eithic insured that the leader did a good job, but he would never have the time to do whatever his chosen profesion had been, be it farmer, smith or heardsman so their leaders were always a gloomy lot. Roddy II decided that any people who so disliked having the role of leader would welcome the chance to join Roddyna and have the larger town provide the leadership they needed.
Roddy had set out with the expansion force of spearmen, but he had no plans to go further then Berezka. His presense was needed back in the town of Roddyna and only because his presense would help the neggotiations of this untraditional proposal did he come along. He rode in front of the colomn of spearmen that would go on to spread the borders of Roddyna after Berezka had agreed to join.

As he neared the village, he went further ahead of the spearmen so that the people of Berezka could be warned that this was not an attack. As he rode into the village an unexpected scene greeted him. Two men on horseback were chasing a bull around the center of the village whipping and poking it into a frenzy, the bull crashed through fences and sheds in its desperate attemts to either get away from its tormentors or ram them (or their horses) with its horns. Roddy could see a few scared people looking out of the windows of their homes at the dangerous game.
Roddy had been prepared to seek the village leader and to give a speach, but this event seemed to throw his plans to the wind. When Roddy saw a frightened child hiding by the town well with the bull running around it, and the men on horse either unaware or careless of the child's presense in this dangerous situation he acted.
Pulling out his bow he waited untill the bull was on the opposite side of the well from the child and quickly released 5 arrows into it in quick succession. The bull went down, but now Roddy was facing the two angry men that had been chasing it around the village. Only now, looking closer at their faces did Roddy realize that they were too pale to be farmer natives of this village and must have been forest or even cave dwellers.

The two horsemen charged at Roddy. one leveled his spear and the other brandished a long whip. Roddy realized that he had interupted something much more serious then a dangerous game and that these men had been here with very malicios intentions. He shot an arrow at the one armed with a spear, but the rider seemed prepared for this and was able to maneuver his horse out of the way of the arrow. Forgoing his bow, Roddy decided that fighting both at once would be unwise and spurred his horse to the side so as to possition the rider with the whip between the spearman and Roddy. The whip made a sharp whooshing sound through the air and as Roddy instinctively put up his hand to protect his face from the whip, it wrapped itself around his arm. As the horses went past eachother Roddy yanked his arm forward and the surprised rider was pulled off his horse by his own whip. Roddy turned his horse towards the spear wielding man as he threw the whip of his arm. The attacker had at first gone to help his comrade but then seemed to change his mind and turn towards Roddy. Having wasted a few precios seconds in the indecision when he turned, he was once again facing Roddy with bow drawn and arrow aimed at him. The man charged again, and again Roddy shot an arrow at him. this time Roddy was expecting the man to dodge, and compensated. The arrow hit the man in the shoulder and he went flying off the horse.

Roddy made sure that neither man was getting up, then walked over to the still shaking child by the well and told her to go home. She looked up at him, then ran off to one of the near by houses where she was met at the door by an old woman, who Roddy could only assume was her grandmother.

By this time the commanders of the Spearmen that had been behind Roddy had come into town, worried by the fact that they werent told that all was fine. They were expecting word from Roddy saing wheather the village elders were fine with them comming into the village or if they should stay outside.
Roddy asked them to get the two men he had fough up, and to pull the arrow from the shoulder of one of them. An elderly man walked up to Roddy and introduced himself as Ivan the Berezka Village Elder. It turned out that these two horsemen had actualy stolen the two horses from this very village, had then given the slip to the men who went in persuit and came back to terrorise the village while most of the men were out looking for them.

The next day Roddy the Second of Roddyna headed back home more pleased with the results of his trip than he could have ever hoped. When the men of Berezka had come back from their fruitless chase of the horse thieves and found out about the events of the day, they had unanimously accepted the proposition Roddy had brought (none seemed happier then the Elder who was already discussing an "apprenticeship" with the town smith). In addition, the father of the girl at the well, had volunteered two of his sons (second and third oldest) into service with Roddy's spearmen, to help convince the other villages they would visit to join Roddyna.

Macoroba

Mecca had always been there. The Arabs say that the Gods created two citys, to give their children a place to life. The first city created was Mecca. The moon god formed the city with stones, sand and his very own blood. The city was beutifull and the Arabs left the dessert to live in the streets of Mecca. When the God of the Sun saw this, he got jealous of his brothers creation. He used the same material as his brother, but instead of using his blood to reinforce the buildings he cut his hair and used the infinite hair to build a citys on a par with Mecca. Several years passed and the people of both citys lived peacefully in their beutifull homes, while the gods improved their citys, to surpass each other. But one day a terrible sand storm devasted Arabia. Both citys were destroyed by the mighty power of the elemental force. Each building was fallen down and when the people tried to rebuild there homes, the building fell down when the last stone was to be placed. The homeless people despaired and they begged the gods for help, but the moon god and the sun god were not able to recontruct the two citys. The situation was desperate and the Arabs started to leave the citys - these arabs later became known as the beduins - when the two brothers forced themselves to take a decision. With the blood of the Moon god and the hair of the sun god Mecca and Medina had been rebuild and the Arabs were no longer homeless.

Orders:
-Increase infrastructure by connecting Medina with Mecca
-Increase Light Chariots
-Guard Medina and other citys and villages with the Militia
-Expand along the coast

OOC:
Jason don´t forget to list the NPCs alphabetically.

The German Reich had been born out of the unification of the German tribe. Berlin had been built as the first city and the capital city of the new Reich. Upon the deathbed of the strongman that united the tribe, his successor to the title of German Kaiser vowed to continue his father's legacy and to build Germany into a powerful and large nation.

Unfortunately, before military might could be even considered, there was the necessity of building up a strong economy. A grand marketplace would be built in Berlin. Since the founding of the city, German internal merchants had been bartering with each other in separate locations throughout the city, preventing stable economic growth. This also made it easier for hooligans to steal. The Grand Reichplatz Market of Berlin would create a massive marketplace in the city center. Maybe then the economy would stimulate. Until it would be completed, however, there would have to be gradual smaller meeting places for merchants from each district of the city, and eventually, step-by-step, these small markets would join together once the Reichplatz had been completed.

Expansion was also necessary. There were rumors of German tribes outside the Reich. It would be time to unify these tribes so that they don't fall to whatever dangers may exist in this mysterious and unknown world.

GERMAN ORDERS:
Start wonder - Grand Reichplatz Market of Berlin.
Start some small marketplaces to start to get an organized economy so that internal merchants and bartering is safer and more unified, gradually.(Increase Economy)
Use 200 troops to expand northward to reach the coast.
Use 300 troops to expand south and southeast, toward Silesia and Bavaria. If they reach Silesia (that's a big IF, though), build the city of Breslau. If they reach Bavaria (another big IF), build the city of Munich.
EDIT: Bank the 1 economy I have.

Now now guys, erez, xen was only trying to help you.

Xen, 1/1 means you are making 1 e.p. a turn (thats the second 1: 1/1) and then the other 1 (1/1) is actually erez's treasury. This means he has a total of 2 e.p. (econ. points) to spend. If you need more help with the economy, please talk to me online.

I hope nobody takes attitudes from OOC and uses them in the game. That would only make this game worse, and I won't MOD it should that happen.

Nope!

In the village of Stockholm captial of the Vikings in the land of Sweden, the war drums of Freya and Thor beat, and beat into the nights. At all the shrines warroirs were giving tributes to the gods. The Vikings were about to launch their first ever war.

It had been some years since the death of Leif the Lucky and the Uniter as he was now known as. His son Olaf, took the name Lief as his royal name and thus started the tradiition of all the Viking Kings being called Leif. Now Olaf wasnt nearly as smart as father in civil matters but had one of the most cunning and devious minds in all of Sweden. He succeded his father and saw that his fathers programs were being fruit and the popluation of the Vikings grew as their was more food beeing provided by the new farms. With this new surplus the new Chief ordered the raising of new war parties and the increase in the army followed.

The situation in Sweden was ripe, the Vikings were the first tribe to unify and establiash coherent socio-economical structures. While Leif would have tried to find a way to increase the living standard and food production his son looked for a way to turn this advantge onto the battlefeild.

The war drums reached their climax a moment later and the King led his war band down into the village green. In the middle of the green, in tradtional Viking manner sat the Crown of Odin(high god) repersenting power to rule his children given to Leif many years ago and the sword and shield of Thor, showing the warrior who carried these items had the blessing of the warrior god.

Olaf put the crown on his head slowy, then strapped on the sheild to his arm and finally picked up the blade of Thor and yelled "To Warrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". All the warriors of the Vikings followed their King and Captain out of the village through the new farms and into the land of the other tribe.

Olaf the Bloodeager as he was now known personally led the training of the army and improved thier tactics and warrior skills. Soon the time would be right for the time to strike and take anthor step to unifying Sweden under the Viking banner.

Orders:
Contiune the state sponsored farming initavite, give support to those building irragtion channels to the new farms.
Incrase Army
Upgrade their training
Attack the barbarian tribes, try to use the better training to ur advantge
Send out settlers, people who dont have land etc, to the South and try to claim land and construct villages and farms.
Begin Wonder: Thors Crown
