OOC: Well, somehow I did have a feeling something interesting like that will happen soon...
Anyway, glad to see we finally have gotten ourselves a nice little War of 1802. And I agree, we need some foreign nation stats as well, for the forces and economy in this region.
BTW, will we occasionaly have important news from the Old World? If not, then I am quite willing to provide these occasionally...
Also, I think I didn't understand trade completely.

This... is an outrage. We were only recently informed that due to accident one of our merchant ships has entered Canadian waters, and before even TRYING to inform us of that incident, you declared war! It is obvious to me that this means that you do want war, to subdue our brave and freedom-loving people - otherwise you would have tried to understand what happened. And war is what you will get.

Again must we fight the British. We ask all of you to send troops to assist the northern states. Also, due to this development, we will be unable to donate funds for the Louisiana Purchase as all our money will be needed to raise more troops.
We believe that we must contact France and ask it to cancel the negotiations in Amiens. *secret*Perhaps we could ask them to invade England itself? In that case we should propose and help execute the following plan - most of the French and the united American fleets will meet up in the Bermudas, and hopefully will distract the British there. Meanwhile the core of the French army will invade Great Britain itself while the fleet is away! This would draw the British attention away from Canada, and if that invasion is succesful, will bring the Prideful Albinion to its knees!*secret*

I am informed of the Northeastern Alliance. I propose that all the "New England" states will form the New England Alliance (with the same abbervation, LOL), an Union within THE Union. We propose a tariff-free trade zone within New England, and military cooperation, and several other measures.
*secret*We must also plan our strategy. I propose that most of your forces will be sent to counter the enemy in New Hampshire and in Michigan, while Massachussets will, with its entire army and some of your reinforcements, launch a massive flank counteroffensive from Maine to cut the enemy forces off from reinforcements and supplies and hopefully to secure St. Lawrence.*secret*
