Brittany occupied a very strategic part of France, and in order for our country to prosper in the future, we needed to annex it. We had no intentions on attacking Portugal, and did not want it to turn into what it has turned into.

If you don't want to continue wasting your men's lives on the countless deaths in war, then I suggest you sign a peace treaty. We are willing to recognize your pre-war colony, if you recognize that Brittany is now a part of France, and Tolosia is independent.

Make peace, King Luthern, as you shall continue on to your trading and prospering ways.

TNG: Depends if you take an NPC or not. If you don't, and create a new nation, yes, you will start in Bronze, but I give players bonuses so often you probably won't be for long.

A complete difference. We did not set fire to their cities to intentionally kill innocent people. We targeted soldiers, not women and children. We did not destroy thier land just because we could. We did not kill their villagers because we could. With power comes responsibility, and what you do with that responsibility shows your true character. France treated Brittans with respect and reverence. The Germans killed, raped, and pillaged.

No, our invasion of Brittany is no where in comparison with the atrocities the Germans commited in the Rhein.

I can see I wont be able to keep Shanghai, but if I withdraw from Chu will you assist in the attack on Shu and allow me to keep some former Bagan lands?

Also, NK, could you change the color of the Cimmerians in Anatolia, maybe to something very light (yellow or something)? It's very hard to distinguish cities and borders with a color that dark.
