NK, does the following count as an exploit/bug in the rules or is it expected/allowed?

normally u get 2 spend points per turn, so u get 4 in 2 turns. However, if you sit the first turn (grow economy) and then sac it in 2nd turn, u get a total of 8 points to spend...

why did you tell him? also that exploit has existed for awhile, before it was saricfice one economy spend 6, grow economy, then spend 6 again. so it was 12 in three turns instead of 6

Edit: except now its bigger, i suppose you could add i rule where you cant grow your economy for awhile after killing it on purpose

Exploit? Well, you stagnate for a turn, but that's beside the point. Eventually, though, your economy may crash if you just keep sacrificing constantly.

Edit: Never mind.

Orders tomorrow or Tuesday (going by NK's schedule, the update is on Wednesday).

[the text that was once here is deleted as per request]

Mind that if you guys sacrifice too many ecos, I won't be at all forgiving in my economic random events.

At all.

I know I "promised" (more like tentatively said I might do) NPC stats when I got back, but as I just arrive here maybe two hours ago and already intend to sleep soon, I don't think I'm up for it right now.

Tomorrow I shall fix them up, about 3 PM Eastern Time, methinks.

If I sacrfisied in the past? can I use the 2 points I missed in past turns :-\ ??

I did write about it; it was not worth writing about, tho.

Which is why I give you somethin worth writing about. ;)
This is designed to make high economies worthwhile and quicken expansion for you power hungry zealots.

I heard from someone there was one more reason. ;) Not that I know anything in particular about it...

Despite being away from home, Maluk still always was sure to encourage fine arts, especially chronology as it forever recorded his glory. Knowing that wine gave fighting spirit to the warriors, he decided that it should also give writing spirit to historians. Besides, he was the Compassionate, the Generous, etc...

Pray, NPC me this turn please.
I'm gonna be pretty busied up and all that. Hectic last week.. *sigh*

Argh, I've catched a terrible cold and havn't been able to finish the story I was writing;
basically, a fire starts in one of the new houses and burns down half of the capital, the Princesses son dies and she goes insane and gets the Elders to declare war against the Gotar. The people are really unhappy.

Here are the orders:

-Sacrifice one economy level.
-Recruit 3000 spearmen and archers.
-Declare war on the Gotar. Attack along the east coast with 3000 spearmen and 3000 archers,
use 1500 spearmen and 500 archers to defend the west side. Enslave any civilians, execute resistants.
-Use 500 spearmen and archers to control the population in our cities and defend from the Finns.
-Use 500 spearmen to hunt down and kill any smugglers.

Sure, why not? :)

MjM: Today would be nice, but they're not really due at any point, you'd just do well to get them in before I update, which depends on when I get c. 15 orders.

So I got extra 4 spending points with the already existing 2? YAY

to Baleric Islands:
Would you like to open trade?

Again the rotten scum charged. Charles was ready this time, though. He lowered his spear to where it was shoulder height. The barbarians charged right into the row of spears, Charles and the rest of his regiment were already braced for the impact. As body after body felt the sharp penetration of the metal spear tip, Charles' heal dug deeper and deeper into the moist soil of a family farm. Blood spilt into the small stream that watered the fields of France, slowly turning the icy water red. He heard is commander yell out orders to hold the line, but it didn't seem like it would be possible against the horde that kept pouring onto his spear.

After hours of fighting, his noticed the line broke to his right; and, like blood into the stream, the Celts poured through the crack and into the regiment, breaking the form. Immediately Charles dropped his spear and reached for his blade that hung at his hip, but he was stopped. The Celt in front of him grimmed as he pulled out the rusty bronze from Charles' abdomin. Charles dropped to his knees, gasping for air. All his life he had enjoyed the uknown luxury and had not noticed until now how precious the air was. Charles fell, face first, into the muddy dirt. As the dark overcast sky began to fade, and his heart beat dim, he heard the cheers of his comrades, and the end of fighting. Had it been worth it? Had the war against the Celts been worth his unnoticable statistical life?

ORDERS
-Use the banked spend points for more spearmen. This and the existing army save 500 men who will guard the land will march agaisnt the Celts. Reach the river, it is the upmost importance.
-Use the spend points from this turn to construct a navy. Sacrifice economy, spend 3 one new spearmen and archers, and the other 3 on the navy again, and land in Leeds, Britain. Set up a fort there, expand.
-2 farmland points will be used for increasing the education by builing temples throughout the land to learn and worship in. The other will be spent on roads.
-Construct a city to act as a trade port for all of France in the north, where the navy will operate from, and where trade will commence.
-Expand south and west, but not as intense as in the east to reach that river.
