the picture is realy black and white but if you looked at the black dot during the coutdown and dont change your focus it apears to be in colour.

Don't move/blink your eyes, just keep being fixated on that black dot. I had that split second of colour the first couple of tries

i checked the .gif on imageready, they didn't put in any coloured versions.
as for why the thing colourises, maybe your eyes remember the colour from the 15 seconds, like when you look at a light and its still in your eyes when you look away.

Yeah The Castle one and things like that sorta are hard for me cause I can't keep my eyes open so often in quick succesion. But I love these little things.
