Stray (?) Cat Advice.

Since Dexter is sitting beside every one of Zardnaar's posts, I'd say the answer is likely "yes."

:p
:D

Unless it is Dexter and not Zaardnaar who is typing ;)

On a more serious note, I look forward to the introduction and the stories around it... its a delicate business or so I am told.

Nice!

So, do the cats know about each other?

Yes they've met. "Arthur" doesn't care about Dexter and doesn't really react if Dexter is close.

Dexter is not a fan however and hisses at him and has chased him off a couple of times.

Dexter's all bark and no bite though. Big boy was Numero uno in the neighborhood but getting old.

Dexter was in a box tonight and I snuck off to check on Arthur but somehow Dex snuck out of the lounge and they had an incident on the back porch.

Think he is happy enough?

Our neighbours cat got big, and then used its size to bully other cats and eat their food that their owners left out
Eventually its greed lead to its obesity, and early death from being fat.

He didn't really get fat but was a solid 5.5 kg at his prime.

Just solid built and didn't take much guff.

He's a mooch with the neighbors and isn't to aggressive.

When I still had Chloe, Maddy was the aggressor in the food department, despite being much smaller. I had to give up on feeding them canned food because Maddy would inhale hers and steal Chloe's.

I switched to dry food being left out and each could eat when they wanted (not at the same time).

Dis hoomanz betrayed me!!!

And dis corner

Lured me out with food and then snatched me!!. Took me to a strange place.

Turns out the food I was leaving out I suspect another cat raided it. So he may not have eaten as much as I thought.

I never really liked "Kill Bill", but the cat looks a lot more comfortable

He might be happy. Snip snip on Wednesday.
I read somewhere that cats have 32 muscles in each ear. This is why they can communicate a wealth of information with them, and it's up to humans to learn what their positions and movements mean.

My immediate interpretation is that the cat is resting.

As for how he will feel after the operation... not great for a few days, but he'll get over it. Some neutered cats put on weight, so his new humans will need to watch that. I was also told that neutered cats require a low-ash, low-magnesium diet. This is information that should be listed on the cat food labels.

I'm not sure if he is comfortable enough.
He is scrubbing up well. Very friendly. Kinda cute just a little bit.
