Chinese porcelain is literally synonymous with China (albeit with a small 'c'): china was China's ambassador. There's no other product in the world that has achieved such a lasting influence for hundreds of years. While both silk and porcelain were heavily traded along the Silk Road, porcelain eventually became more prominent in trade, particularly in later periods, as its durability made it easier to transport over long distances compared to delicate silk; with porcelain often serving as ballast on ships carrying other goods, including silk itself!
Which leads me to request an ancient (circa Han dynasty) Hollywood -like wonder, which provides 7 porcelain luxuries, just like hit movies. Gets obsolete with Plastics.
