Called out. I just know that the Byzantines converted some Arab tribes in that area as buffers, but I forgot there name. I read in "A Short History of Byzantium" a while back.
It is definitely the freest of all the Arab states. (Libya doesn't count yet. after it survives 2 decades of democracy, it will likely the freest. its got to survive the turmoil of that first generation though. general rule of mine is in the first 20 years a democracy is highly unstable, but after that its going to take EXTREME effort to cause it to become unstable. Dictatorships are general more "stable" in the first 20 years, but rarely stand a chance of lasting longer. However, if they find a way to make their people happy and the economy strong without oppression, they'll likely last a very long time.)
I'd still call it a while way from Democracy, I don't think genuine, stable Democracy has ever existed in a Muslim country (Turkey & Indonesia are highly dubious) so far tbh.
Your tone suggests a familiarity. Are you from the region?

Now, I make many assumptions coming up with these names (and know that I don't know python well enough to make complex requirements... it's black and white. If moors own a country, they're called this. If I knew better python, I'd factor religion and time period and etc...) For instance, I assume that if the Moors vassalize the Aztecs of Incas, it's because of the conqueror events.

Yes, a lot of them derive either from the Arabic name (Al Maksik, Beru [With a bit of editing on my part. A lot of romanized arabic looks strange {it should of been Byrw instead of Beru}]) for countries, or from a predominantly Islamic population in a country. Want me to finalize those into Arabic and Moorish?
