Hello,

I play SVN version for years now (many different version without any issue). I didn't update for near one year and i tryed to update again few days ago and today again, with each time another error in \pristine\ directory, when i check the directory doesn't exists, but change at each try. (01, 07, 09, etc random numbers)
It can download or update same files so the SVN link seem OK (svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/caveman2cosmos/code/trunk)
I put a screenshot (in french sorry, saing that it can't open a file or the path can't be find)

Any idea how to solve my issue?

thanks

Hello tmv,

i updated from 1.9 to 1.13 but it changed nothing. Strange as some files updates but not all ...
no i can't, i checked already, i'm still on windows 7 (and my hardware won't support W10) :p

Maybe a silly question, but have you tried deleting your Ashes of Erebus mod folder and then downloading a fresh copy?
If that fails, then it's likely something has prevented access to one of the svn file paths somehow; an antivirus program, perhaps?

How did you update to 1.13? On the page I gave you it states:

"If you're still need to use those earlier OS, you have to keep using TortoiseSVN 1.10 for Windows 7/8, TortoiseSVN 1.9 for Windows Vista or TortoiseSVN 1.8 for Windows XP."

Why are the Discord modders Not posting their fixes and update to the SVN? 11640 has a few problems still and no update now since Feb 6th! C'mon guys U r Neglecting this Forum and it's C2C members! Why are you cutting us off?! The SVN is NOT hard to update. And I'm not using git anymore either.

Sorry Joseph, I haven't been involved with C2C development for a while. I did bump your request on discord though, hopefully they'll bump the svn version soon for you.
Sad to hear this Blazenclaw. I thought you did good work while you where here.

Most likely a silly question, but is there any way to leverage the new AI agents to help code C2C? I hear AI coding capabilities are improving dramatically over time. Or possibly use AI agents to speed up the development of a stand alone C2C dramatically?

As they did in Star Trek, you know? "Hey computer, code the game. Disengage safety protocols. Activate!"

That will get you new and interesting bugs that someone will have to look for later.
Theoretically, whoever is using the AI to help code would be reviewing and fixing these. The OP asked if there was a way to "leverage the new AI agents to help code C2C". I would much prefer a person using AI to help them code to continue working on C2C than for the mod to cease to be updated.

If it is not a real time-saver, then it will not give people more time/opportunity to code. And looking for bugs is the most time-consuming part of coding.
