SymNES II - Ash Like Snow

Retroactive deletion.

The rest of the week is absolutely terrible for me in terms of free time. Hopefully I'll send orders tomorrow; if not, then orders will either be crappy or late (or both). You've been warned.

Orders sent. Let me know if they need adjustment please.

A detailed timeline of your objectives, dated according to above-mentioned fashion.

Under "timeline", did you mean something like what Birdjaguar has used in the earlier turns of his present NES (with the obvious differences due to the different resolution, naturally)? In other words, are we supposed to divide our goals between chronological phases?

Actually, given the vague and general nature of those orders, is that even necessary? I mean, general instructions for the period as a whole would probably do just as well. Or is that what you intended in the first place?

I broke my turn into 200 year segments and charted a few goals for each.

Origin Location: 2
Societal Name: Arozi
Language Family: Proto-Asonic
Descent Rights: Patrilineal
Inheritance Rights: Patrilineal
Climate Distribution: Tropical/subtropical savanna near bodies of water
Writing: Everyone Elses
Mythology: The chief dieties are the Sun and the Earth. The Sun is Masculine and the Earth is Feminine. Earth is weak(a simple child can break its skin) but it is compassionate and gives so much. And it is resilient. Like women in their culture. The Sun is like a man, leaving each night to fight the enemies of the Earth and to gather nourishment that the Earth cannot grow herself.

The Earth created Life, and attempted to raise it in caves so the sun would not see, but in these caves evil infected Life. Earth tried to give it the antidote Good but nothing came of it. When the sun found out about Life, he tried to destroy it with a giant stone he cast at it, and the stone hit and split Life into millions of pieces, who became the different species, who could all be good or evil.

I don't really see what a timeline implies other than a chronological ordering of events. :p And yes, I do want it despite vagueness so that I don't have to spend quite so much time organizing the intervals over which things happen.

Were my orders and the timeline what you expected?

Thank you.

So the meteoric iron that we worship and have been baking ritualistically in our charcoal fires over the last 500 years has produced an early form of steel? Fabulous!

No, but it is a good harbinger of its brothers which broke off in an ancient collision and which will shortly be raining down on your position in ever greater numbers. ;)
 I can't wait for the update. This looks to be good.

I don't really see what a timeline implies other than a chronological ordering of events.

I was a bit confused by that fact that we are really unlikely to work with any kinds of specific events in the ordinary sense right now; plus that's a whole lot of chronos to work with.

Thanks, anyway.

EDIT:

because you can't really do anything with them

We still can herd sheep and other such animals, though, can't we? ;)

lurker's comment: Gotta research Animal Husbandry and build a pasture with a road connection for that to work.

That should probably be made easier by the fact that the Pegi Rente have Agriculture as one of their starting techs...

I had asked the question mostly to attempt to plot out how my culture would be living, i.e. what they would herd, raise, farm, etc. But i can still do that. I'll just assume generic Savannah-esque culture.

Also, did Origin 2 ever get one of those nifty word sheets?

Orders sent. No clue if they're what you wanted, but I almost certainly will not be able to revise them.
