talonNES: MES/NES III

OOC: Will closing the door cause problems? Like being unable to go back?

Donald knocks the guy who's head he's holding into the guy who is still awake.

I shrug my shoulders and head into the bar, closing the door behind me.

"That's a bigger task than I anticipated... Tell you what. My team is in at tussle outside. If you pardon them, and let us work it out, we'll all help you in return for the beer."

Sweden says, "We cannot subvert the cause of justice."
Argentina: "Yes, we can. We will agree not to press charges against any of you except the one who so inconsiderately dumped one of our citizens out of your ship from a great height. You could free him on bail, on condition of his exile."
Sweden: "No, we can't do that! FOR GREAT JUSTICE!"
Argentina: "...sit down, Inge."

Donald hurls one boarder into the other. Baseline 45, roll 7. They both go down hard. -5 HP each.

Is that everyone unconscious?

Right. Update.

Ian pauses. "...fine. How much for how much?"

In the cockpit, Donald is standing beside the helm console, while both boarders get up and charge him. Badr/Basim does nothing.

We await a response from Kniwles with breathless anticipation.

Likewise, the crowd is beginning to wonder why Savoldelli, having talked them out of their rage, now says nothing. Fetal position warning.

Slam one of the conscious borders into the other conscious borders and then shout at them "Calmeh doon! Canne weh jast talk thars aver?"

"About 2,000 local dollars for several kegs of beer. I know it is not exactly orthodox, but we had no cash on ourselves and figured you might be willing to give us a hand. It is a new kind of beer for you to get."

Antonio smiles weakly at Ian, hoping that he will do this, so that he allows him and Sancha to return to the other world and help their friends

My thanks to everyone for prompt responses, and apoligies for caring about my exams when I have been doing this. :p Hey, Popcornlord, if you're around, the presence of a second MESer to take on the boarders would sure do some good!

Ian his head. "Sure, why not? Singaporean dollars, did you say? Hey, Kenny, go check if we have any Singaporean dollars lying around!" Kenny whoever he is, rummages about in a back room, and after five minutes a wad of cash flies out the door. Ian catches it without looking, counts off $2500, and hands it over. "Hope this is worth it."

Argentina says unto Kniwles: "We'll send out people for your people. We're not eqipped to deal with spaceships from another dimension, though. Where can we find them? And is there any sort of confirmation phrase that we need to be aware of?"

On board the ship, again, Donald moves to injure the boarders while simultaneously talking like a peacemaker. This seeming hypocrisy makes them not particularly friendly to him - of course, the comprehensive beatdown he's delivered so far is working in his favour. Baseline 38, roll 80. They fight on. -5 HP each, by the way. They attack Donald, Baseline 50, rolls 49 and 68. -5 HP to Donald.

The crowd is beginning to get antsy waiting for Savoldeli to dispense recompensation.

"Cam arn mane, I rilleh danne wanna hart yar. Plares jarst sarrandar." I say to the men. If they don't surrender, then slam their heads into each other until they fall unconscious.

/sighs, then faces the crowd
"While my pilot attempts to calm down the boarders, would anyone who lost property due to this ship please come forward, and I will get the payment to you ASAP for it? Also, if anyone knows who those borders are and can contact them, please tell them to stop assaulting my pilot."

/to the bracelet
"Sancha, might need a small portion of that money you guys are bringing here, just to stop an angry mob."

*listens to the bracelet*

*frowns*

"Donald, I'll bet. Or something else?"
