Team AMAZON Pitboss II(via Hamachi)

Still can't connect :(

What happened to ?? I mean, I know the game was restarted, but there are 7 civs? And 9 on the Zenobia Diana network? I'm just really confused. :crazyeye:
Any AMAZON can join the Zenobia Diana network and Instant Message the rest of us/see who is online etc. You dont have to be playing the game to be on Zenobia Diana. But you DO have to be on Zenobia Diana to play the game. Does that make sense?:)

I have updated the frontpage with the new game info.:) So it no longer says 12 civs.

This is what happened:
1. Started a test game with 12 civs (if all 12 slots were filled, then we would play with 12, if not we would start over).
2. Only 5 AMAZONs signed up
3. Started new game with 5 civs but the Map sucked
4. Asked for final signups and settings
5. 6 AMAZONs signed up
6. Started a new game with 6 civs (for the six people who signed up)
7. Gingi logged in a took control of nabaxo's civ and founded the first city
8. Gingi realized the mistake and retired the civ to AI

So Now there are a few things we can do, and it is completely up to nabaxo:dunno::
1. nabaxo can log in and take control of his civ and just accept the capital that Gingi founded
2. nabaxo can give up his slot to Gingi
3. nabaxo can request that we start over:(

If no decision is made by the time everyone else has logged in, I will serve as a sub so that the game can move forward without an AI civ. If that happens, Any AMAZON can ask to take over for me.

Still can't connect :(
Check your firewall settings to make sure civ4 is a firewall exception, also make sure civ4 pitboss is a firewall exception. Maybe Ginji can take over for you:p

I see that Majic and Silent Confusion (and Ginji) connected and played their turn. Is anyone else having trouble connecting?

I will, but I connected the other day.

It's not the firewall. I keeps saying connection timed out.

CivStats seems to have inaccurate information.

It doesn't show the correct nations.

It shows Ragnar of Vikings instead of Ragnar of HRE.

The others are also off.

Once you go to visit, you should get a Civstats login ID and register your team on Civstats so that you can send each other Diplomatic Messages through Civstats instead of having to use the in-game diplo screen or in game chat.

You don't have to register with Civstats to play, it just makes diplo a little easier.:)

I was trying to "register as a player" in that game. I already created an account. It said to enter a password and it said "Your game administrator chooses this password. It is not your player password." Did this password get posted somewhere?

Also should we post info and our strategies in this thread or create a new one?

Sommer: I don't mind, I have a fairly good capital and I don't mind that Ginji settled there. :)
OK great!:goodjob: Now just waiting on TMIT and remake20.
Can I ask the game admin to add my civstats user to this game?
You have to add it yourself. The password for Civstats is "Diana"

Yes, IDK :dunno: why Civstats does that. It only lets you enter the leader name but not the Civ, so unrestricted leaders dont show properly.

Well this Pitboss was advertised as "Competitive" rather than "Teaching." The pitboss remake20 was starting was the "Teaching" game.

So I would say you should ask all the other participants if they want to share info or play competitively. If it's OK with all the people playing, I don't see a problem with it.

I guess I missed where it said competitive. I can handle that. Personally I will be using both for learning purposes, but we can keep this one less open and make it more competitive.

EDIT: Looked back at the OP. I see I just misunderstood what that part was saying.

I tried entering "Diana" and "diana" as passwords and I can't get it to work. The part where it says "Are you playing in this game? Register your leader." I select my name and try typing all ways to capitalize that word. Either I'm trying to register in the wrong section, or the password may not be working. Did it work for anyone else?

Try it again. That happened to me the first time I tried to join civstats.

This does work after repeated tries. Honestly it took about 8 correct tries before it worked though, so I guess it's a test of determination.

I still can't connect, you may have to drop me.

Since you cannot connect to either game, I would think it must be some kind of firewall thing.

Well I connected to the first version of this one, and BTS is going through my firewall.
