Team AMAZON Pitboss II(via Hamachi)

I can't connect. I can connect to DS's games, but not this one. Hamachi is running and it should work.

I'm not sure where the breakdown in communication between remake's computer and these games is, but I've always been able to connect just fine. The game is up and working, even now, but if anyone has any idea what might cause remake's problem let us know. Curiouser and Curiouser.

I'll try again a little bit later tonight.

r20,
1. You are not connected to Hamachi right now. I am at the Pitboss CPU right now. I am connected, SilCon is connected, nabaxo, harvman and TMIT are all connected. You are not, so either your Hamachi is OFF, or it is not connected.

2. Move you mouse cursor over to your Internet Status Icon. It looks like a Computer Monitor with another Computer Monitor behind it. When you are connected to the internet, you see a blue and green globe in front. When you hover your mouse over the icon, a box comes up that tells you your network status. Do you see two networks? They should be: (a) Whatever your router name is and; (b) Hamachi (or Network 5 or 3) or something like that. If you dont have 2 networks up, then you have to go to your "Network and Sharing Center" and enable the Hamachi (or Network 5) icon. If you are not sure how, I can explain a little more.

3. Look at your Hamachi window... where everyone's CPU's are listed. Do you see any yellow Caution signs next to anyone's name? If yes, then use the last fix that I described a while back in this thread.

4. If you dont feel like doing any of this stuff then just try re-starting your computer. That MIGHT sort it out automatically.

Woah! Lot's of caution signs, so what do I do? (Linky perhaps)

Talking about the game: What a terrible start I have. Not as bad as the poor guy in the warm up game in the UN forum, but horrible nevertheless. We'll see if I manage to break out of it. :S

I stupidly pranced around with my settler before settling. Practically scouted my whole area with my settler. I'm still recovering from that. Shouldn't have moved at all.

That's the thing, I settled right next to where I started. I shouldn't have settled where I started or next to it, I should have moved like five spots away to get a viable spot. As it is now, I have to farm flood-plains to get any food. And I'm FIN. T_T

I ended up in a worse location, but by that time I didn't want to spend all the time going back.

I'm okay, but a lot of floodplains. How do I enable the disabled network it step two of that post?

Assuming you are talking about this step 2 in Bold.

1) Kill the process "hamachi-2.exe"
2) Disable and enable the hamachi network adapter
3) Start again the service "LogMeIn Hamachi 2.0 Tunneling engine" from the control panel
4) Start the Hamachi client from the Start menu

This how your do it:

A. Go to your Network Icon (the two monitors with the blue/green globe in front) in the lower right hand corner of the screen (next to the clock).

B. Right Click and scroll down to "Network and Sharing Center"

C. A window Opens... Go over to the Menu on the Left side of the window and Select "Manage Network Connections"

D. A new window opens... You should see at least two or three icons. One will say "Local Area Connection," one will say "Wireless Network Connection" and one will say "Hamachi" or "Network 5" (or 3 or 7 or something like that).

E. Right click the "Hamachi" Icon and choose "Disable" Wait for it to disable. It should visibly change status to read "Disabled"

F. Then right click it again and click "Enable." When it enables, move to step 3.

I restarted my computer and got it back, I will now do the rest of the steps.

EDIT: op no more errors. :goodjob:

Are the games working for anyone? I am on the network and lots of computers are green circles, but the hosting computer is blue meaning a relayed tunnel instead of a direct tunnel. I don't know really what this means. It just times out when I try to connect though.

I can't find BTS, so my turns may skip until I get a technical issue resolved through steam.

Do you mean you lost your CD? You don't need the CD to play PTS anymore. That was part of the 3.19 update.

What is "steam?" Like really hot water type steam?

@ -SilCon. I am not home to check the Pitboss CPU. I may be away from home for the weekend. Ill check it when I get home.

Oi, I have to keep explaining this. I accidentally saved a game file and I needed to reinstall it before I can play the MTDG turns. I then can't find my BTS cd. And you've never heard of STEAM?

I can't play my turns here.
