Hi Sahkuhnder,
Congrats on all the points you reaped for the team. I didn't count, but I'm guessing that you have more than all 188 of us combined.

And awesome avatar btw.

WOOHOO just built a new comp with a 9800gtx in it. The GPU client is really cooking with gas :goodjob:

Also could anyone explain the right syntax to get the link in my sig to display the page it hits??

:goodjob: Straight in at number three, and shooting for the number two spot, I see! Impressive. I wish my Mac's 8800GT could run the GPU client.

Change your sig to [ img]http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/sigs/sigimage.php?u=232419 [/ img] with no spaces in the tags.

Doh I just looked closer at the sig edit page. I'm not allowed to use img tags in sigs. I guess the link will just have to do.

As an added bonus the gpu can keep flogging away at folding even while rendering wow at 70+ fps :king:

sorry Seti@home beat you to it...*looks for aliens*

Wow look at our points per day now!

Sahkuhnder - what are you running? That's serious computing power!

and Fezzic, that 9800gtx is going some as well, do you just run folding on the gpu, or do you run another instance on the processor as well?

Congrats everyone for keeping this going, whether you are a top producer or not :goodjob:

I am folding for another team. Would love to join, as I love this team, but don't want to abandon nearly 100K in points.

You wouldn't be abandoning them, they'd stay with your old team and you'd simply start contributing here instead of there. :)

And yeah, what the hell kind of boxes did Sahkuhnder just fire up?:wow::dubious:

I'm running the GPU client. I could actually fire up an instance of the regular client as well since the gpu client only requires one processor core to do its thing. Hopefully they get the code done to fully offload the gpu client to the gpu so I could then also run the smp clent on the proc.

Also note we are less then 4 weeks from the 10mil mark at our current pace )

Running an E8400. So one core is occupied by the gpu clients needs. At this point I like having the other core free.

The FaH client on my computer has stopped working. When I put my cursor over the icon in the taskbar, it says "Number of Units Completed: 16" but the program isn't attempting to get any more work packets.

They have been doing some major work on the severs for FAH this week but things should be going again now. I was unable to get a work unit for 2 days, partly due to the downtime and partly due to still running ME which restricts the work units I can do. Back going again now though.

I recently bought a Dell 530 with Intel Q6600 and Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.

I installed SMP core for Linux, however, the program would prompt file_io_error when it progresses to about 4%, then the work is deleted.

For FAH technical support, particularly for Linux clients, you are probably best posting in the FaH forums, where all the real experts live.
