way to go AlanH. If you look at this link right now and sort by the 'points / update' (if it isn't), you will see that I am #1. Got to love those 500 pt WUs.
I think you'll find that's a sort by "points for the last update", not "points per update". Your ranking on that table will vary every time someone uploads a WU. My 1440 point units will take me to the top sometimes, and Dojoboy's 1760 point units will put him on top every couple of days.

Sure. My '/' wasn't meant as a division but rather a combination of categories. And, being first for one update is not saying very much, but it is first!

Well my upgrade to console v5.04 got me 1 WU and now I'm back to server 0.0.0.0 again
Looks like I'm not the only one though, looking at their forum many people appear to have this problem at the moment.

I hope it's just temporary, there were comments that they've had server problems and they're rather overloaded trying to upload all the WUs that couldn't be uploaded. Hope it sorts itself soon.
I had to go with the console version, as the graphical version won't run on windows ME. I was running version 4 for that reason, but 5.04 works as long as you don't accept big work units or use advanced methods.
Some people have commented that changing the setting on these flags may get you a WU. I can't do this but if you can it may be worth a try.

My next 1440 point work unit (already uploaded, but not included in the stats yet) will take me to 200,003 points
I had one this size that would have finished later today. Sadly, either it or my setup on my new Mac caused an error, and it dumped. I've got another going now -- if I lose this one as well, I'll have to examine what's going on.
Note that the SMP client needs a continuous local network connection. If you unplug its ethernet ... or its wireless connection dies ... the client fails.
Every twenty or thirty work units on my system I get one that fails. It then tries two more times before abandoning it. It's beta software. But it's so much faster when it's working, that these losses are more than compensated by the work it does do.

We don't add you to the list. If you have configured the CFC team number into your client then your WUs will be credited to TeamCFC automatically. If you haven't then they will have gone into the anonymous pot.

Your name hasn't appeared in the f@h list of CFC folders yet. Are you folding under a different name?

Frustrating. This could be my problem. I know this is only a beta, but... Well, whatever. I'm sure people on the F@H forums have complained about this plenty.
I have been trying to leave my MPB connected with an ethernet cable. On the occasions that I have disconnected, the airport card picks up a neighbour's signal almost immediately (I need a new wireless router). I wonder if those few seconds of disconnect are enough to interrupt the folding?
I'll try one more time, being sure to leave the notebook hardwired, and stopping the client if I plan to move. I've now lost WU's at ~%30, ~%50, and %82 percent completion.
Any other tips for people who have had this problem?
