Hi, I finally got it going and its got some cool molecules going by but it said my WU won't be done til sept. 21. Do I need to keep the phone wire plugged in the whole time?

You are obviously not running one of the high performance work units with a short deadline, so there's no need to keep your internet connection going. It will run locally until it completes the folding simulation. When it's finished it will wait for the next time you establish your internet connection. It will then try to send the results, and to get a new work unit to start on.

That was 13 concurrent CPUs, not 13 work units. Sahkuhnder's farm of processors has completed 3,597 work units to date, and he'll take over top spot in this team in the next 24 hours.

My two CPUs have done 264 work units and a fraction of his and IglooDude's points..

None that I've seen, other than my electricity bill is probably higher as my Mac runs continuously now.
