==Disorder==

Two minor lords within the Baltik have begun a blood feud, killing several dozen people and causing some slight economic slowdown in rural Baltika.

==Warror 404==

Error! Country run by player has tried to declare war on another, but country does not have a name! Conflict cannot proceed. Conflict overridden. They were not invited, and punch was not served. The Green Merchant Republic is saddened at the lack of a party.

The last two years have been quiet barring large-scale colonization by a few key powers such as Ajah, Dermul, and Resdayn. The Baase Necrocracy is noted for trying to sponsor a foreign study program, encouraging foreigners to come to the Baase lands and study the dark arts there. As of yet, no state has publicly agreed to the offer, but with its central location, the Baase could very well become an education center over time.

The Spice Republic retains its economic position, but increasingly finds itself dogged by the Romanora, whose expansive banking sector has paved the way for enormous economic growth.

Due to a lack of central government, the polity to the north of the Spice Republic and west of the Grue has imploded in on itself into a variety of warring states, relieving the pressure on those states in terms of expansion. The collapse was helped along by an unstable war effort attempt against the GMR.

As a cost cutting measure, the Terian Ratings Agency, an apolitical organization that tries to objectively judge the relative quality of each nation’s government services, has announced it is going to give its rankings only once every six years.

OOC: Why have the ratings for my Healthcare, Education and Infrastructure disappeared? Also, are you increasing the amount of years that turns take?

IC: Hello chaps! We of the Grue jovially announce that the Grue have entered into a Royal Marriage with an Eastern Flyingman (OCC: The species that lived in the late nameless nation) Monarchy! Thus their entire kingdom had become a vassal of our Empire! Due to the numerous wars that they are in at the moment, it is likely that the Grue will take over the territory that the entirety of the Nameless Kingdoms will come under our domain. Jolly Good!

Baase has a request to the Spice League...

We had plans to expand to the southern continent. We would ask you hand half enough of the land (about half) for our colonial plans. We can set a good price for it. We then will seek to talk more on matter of trade and of our expantion plans.

Baase must not be contained.

Ailedhoo:

That's Romanora blocking your current expansion; their player is Christos200.

Ninjacow64:

Must have been deleted by accident! Turns are staying the same, but ratings are only changing every 3 turns now so as to keep my workload down.

the Emperor has ordered that the Mathalamus Empire should have complete transparency. that means every order is visible to everyone.

i have 10,955to spend, so...

Army - 500
Navy - 500
Espionage - 500
Education - 500
Healthcare - 500
Infrastructure - 500
Expansion - 7,955

the Emperor hopes that the above spending doesn't break everything in the Empire. its about time we claimed the mainland closest to us. it was under heavy Mathalian influence anyway...

Lord Balero Hopool continues his push to the eastern horizon, as his string of forts continues along what is being called The Lord's Trail. The towns that surround these forts boom as soon as irrigation reaches them from the mighty Ajah, and massive infrastructure projects in the region make sure that those channels are no easy streams to dam.

The population is booming along with the economy, and as the hearts and minds of the public turn eastward, so too does their money and investments. Resettlement companies make a lucrative business training and outfitting settlers for the fierce Eastern frontier, in exchange for those families' homes in their respective cities upon departure.

Lord Hopool continues to invest heavily in the expansion project, and rumors hold that he is trying to convince the King to invest more heavily into expansion and construction.

OOC: oops.

IC: Baase demands that Romanora, who blocks our path south, hands back the land we had marked to be claimed by us last turn and half the claiment in the south so we can conduct our claiments. Consider this a needed solution to avoid border conflicts and other ways the necromancers of Baase can increase the undead population of Baase.

I'll probably have the territory lapse to Baase anyway because I'm going to start penalising inactive players. :p I expect at least SOME hint that the player is still of interest.

im sorry i had a really busy week this last week :(

I do not have enough time to give this justice. NPC me.

That land was auto expanded by the GM than the player himself?!

Forgive me but... I think we need to laps the land to Baase on grounds of "setting present plans to claim some land."

Edit: here are my claims this turn in pink. The green areas are what I wish to be granted to Baase by Romanora to ensure a happy Baase.

Claim Pink, Demand Green.png

In the end my destiny is to reach a certain isle... and ensure Baase's rightful place as a grand power.

Romanora's due to implode at turn's end, no worries.

Orders shall lock in 72 hours, for anyone who still actively follows the thread. We'll be seeing greater amounts of land crowding in some parts here soon, so hopefully that will stimulate activity.

i shall try to be more active in the coming days.

Time up, mates! Orders are locked.

One of the Baltik’s port cities have seen several robberies against local banks and businesses. Evidence suggests a connection to the Mathalamus Empire of all places, but investigators are advised not to rule out the possibility of a red herring.

A great tempest has swarmed over the planet in the last two years, killing tens of millions of people and causing several of the great civilizations to collapse entirely. Even as the world recovers from the sheer economic and ecological shock, it is sure to reap the benefits of all the new territory that has been opened for settlement. Will nations allot it reasonably, or will they be caught in a downward spiral of border conflicts?

One of the most prominent changes is the nation of Viyaya, which has enormously stepped up its expansion efforts with massive loans and grants to settlers and infrastructure builders. Viyaya now is the world’s second largest nation, hot on the heels of Ajah, which remains on top due to a large debt burden that is already contracting its economy.

The Terian Rankings Agency has finally compiled an approximate size of each nation in “Pikisels,” which to us humans would be approximately 4 sq mi or 6.4 sq km.

===

I finally managed to, through trial and error, get a program that will let me measure each nation's size in pixels. I will be giving bonuses to nations with more land starting next turn, so get your exspamsion on!

OOC: wow, i expanded a lot.

Emperor: we have expanded to the mainland, and has constructed the necessary infrastructure, healthcare, and everything to support such an expansion.

the fact that we expanded much farther than we anticipated makes me proud to be Emperor of this fine nation. for that, everyone gets three days off in a week.

the allegations of us raiding a Baltik port is false. we have no reason to conduct any raids against the banks or anything, not when our economy is still very sound. there's no debt, for one.

now that we border both the Empire and the Baltik, the Emperor is sure to desire peaceful relations.

Glory to Aquilus Regina the Marro-ghrussaieaae of the Necrocracy of Baase, who will lead us with the knowledge of the elder ones to seek the salvation of the necromancer orders and to ensure that death is set in its rightful place in the Great Circle which engulfs all existence!

It is in the interest of the way of the orders of death and of the art of decay that Baasen society learns to face other powers with honest notable aim. The great wroth that sweep away the souls of many is a sign of the dominion of death over live. Nations, like people, die. This death is observed as a sign of consideration for the Baasen cause and of meditation. Live is a chain. Death is a release. Undead is the path to true release. Necromancy is the way of darkness and of the true release. Our cause is as ever granted at its notable level as we monitor the aims that now are before us. Death engulfs everything. Undeath is of the nature of the seeking to understand this further. The Marro-ghrussaieaae will wish her citizens to monitor lands of former nations for any remains to be preserved for the benefits of future generation and any dead that could be restored to existence as undead. To this end we expand with great notable consideration and so hope that peace remains so that we can seek the true meaning of it all.

A map we have with this set message shows our path to expand this coming year. By the year's death we should be able to follow the path to our dark destiny.

We have examined your expansion plans for the subcontinent. In light of the collapse of the inferior native civilisations we have drawn up a counter-proposal for the equitable division of the subcontinent between the HIA and the Necrocracy based on geographical features to demarcate the border. Please send your response by raven, they are quite tasty with a junberry sauce.

To Dermul from Baase

We agree with the separation of the continent for the sake of our ambitions. This may prove the beginning of a relationship that might result in a alliance. In the mean time we will commence our policies and set to the way of glory and of darkness.
