Term 1 Science Thread: Insert Joke Here

Facing the discordance we have from science to wonders, the Honorable Deputy Science would be required to present himself in the Culture Ministry's thread to develop a common and effective plan to solve this.

After hearing discussion I tend to lean toward Republic. The rarity of the techs will enable us to gather the other techs through trade since most AI will not continue up the path to Republic. Also the government is better for growth than monarchy, and growth in the ancient and middle ages is what is needed in order to secure our sought diplomatic win.

Honorable Science Minister Rik Meleet and Deputy SAAM

I am about to lauch the Ringi Reform of Japanatica, and the first target is the city localization and development. As Science Ministry, you are interested in building science facilities such as library and university, and in perspective wonders that promote science.

Please investigate the City Proposal Thread and assess the printed map, marcation of future city borders, the tile production by shield, gold food and gold. Commerce is the most critical aspect for your Departments needs, and shields in perspective, as you would need science improvements one day..

So whenever a proposed city comes into the view on that thread, grade it from 0-5 based on how good the city location is. Also grade the city for its commercial potential, that can be converted into science over the budget or through sceientists
When complete, write 3-5 lines on the point selection, and submit it with the Domestic Affairs Ministry. If the City alternative is approved and selected for polling, you are free to, but not obliged, to write in the city proposal thread in order to influence the outcome. I have posted similar posts in the other Departments.

Pottery would have been better, granaries would have made a settler factory possible... and curreghs come with alpha, not pottery.

The Science Department has posted a What to research after Bronze Working Discussion. I invite all citizens to speak their point of view.

@Cyc:
Thank you for that post. I had already seen it (and replied on it). I really like the 1gpt for Bronze deal.
The Science department supports this plan.

Just 1 little detail; the cost of bronzeworking is currently 11 gold, not 12. Check the 10% slider setting ;)

I wish for the Ministry of Science to cast there votes and partisipate in the Babylon Trade thread :).

Thanks,
CivGeneral

The Science Department has some good news; no less than 3 techs have been obtained. They are Pottery, Bronze Working and Warrior Code. This means: Granaries, Spearmen and Archers. A great scientific breakthrough it truly is.

Also, the Science Department has started a new nation-wide discussion on What to research after Iron Working. It should not be a surprise to intelligent, scientific oriented people that the path we should choose must lead to:

Also, the Minister of Science has requested officially to the Minister of Domestic Affairs in this thread to refrain from low slider settings (it currently is only 90% ) and raise it back to 100%.

I dont want to be rude but could the frigging science department actually POST A TECH TREE SCREENSHOT!?!

heheh that teacher on your picture RM looks like my dad!

LOL "Generous funding" for teh "research" of these blondes LOL

The staff of the Science Department is hand-picked by the Minister himself on education level, dedication to science and intellignece. Looks have nothing to do with it. :mischief: ;) :p

Immortal: for your previous avatar I'll make an exception; she's apparantly no longer in your service. Send her over to me and I'll take her in a nice position. :mischief:

Im just testing out some avatars, Ill probably put her back, if not Ill post her for you to use.

hehe, "hand picked" I guessed you used a prehistoric computing input-output device.
