No, I haven't found a type of music I like yet. But let me clarify, I have grown very used to tuning music out, such that when i play games like Conquests, I don't really hear the music anymore. I still blame my not liking music because I REALLY hate the music my parents listen to, that may have turned me off music . . .

There is the best and the worst in hip hop music. Pretty good stuff had been made on the West Coast in the 90's. To me, Rap is dead though. There's no more inspiration in this music.
However, we don't have to reach the arabic peninsula to hear stuff like that. Recently a french rap band known as "Sniper" has been censored because "call for murder" is prosecuted in French law. The trial didn't start yet. Actually, they considered in their lyrics that their neighbourhood was like the Gaza Strip and that they had to do the Intifada against cops. Actually, it became a habit in many places in France to see kids sending stones on the cops and even firemen... here's the reference to the Intifada. I think I already talked about that in another thread.

Because A) you don't even know what Techno is if you call it crappy because people who call Techno crappy probably heard some bad trance song (AKA NOT EVEN A IN THE TECHNO GENRE), and also this "techno" you are refering to is sort of a peace and love music, not a killing music (unless you ARE talking about certain genres of REAL techno, which can be grim).
