I realize I came upon this thread late, but can't the Ottomans be replaced with something else?
I ask because you also have the Turkish civilization, and the Ottoman Empire was simply the Turkish empire -- the name "Ottoman" came from Uthman I, a Turkish leader who founded the Empire. Having the Turks and Ottomans as separate civs....it's about like having the English and "Victorian" civilizations separate.
Plus, I see you haven't decided between the Armenians and the Sycthians....ditch the Ottomans and do them both!
It'll also make the Balkans less crowded.
