I voted for Wish You Were Here.

I've been a rabid Floyds fan growing up. I was one of those weird ass fourteen years old with black clothes, smoking pot and listening to a lot of the Pink.

WYWH is a great album. The title song is probably my all-time favorite tune. The lyrics are superb, the guitar is splendid. This one and Shine On, both about a lost friend, are very emotionnal song, but don't get to be too cheesy or corny. They're just right. We you know the history of the band and about Syd, these songs are even better.

Welcome to the Machine and Have a Cigar are two very good songs about the commercialization of music and the whole machine that is the music industry. It might sound funny coming from freakin' laser shows, court battles, prima donnas Pink Floyd. But these are still contemporary subjects and the message still works even though the Floyds are probably one of the first name that come to mind when we think of over-the-top rock clichés stars. They call it the gravy train.

Animals is the best one.

Sheep is a great song and the parody of psalm 23 is supreme!
Pigs on the wing (especialy part 2) is also good one
Dogs is the best song with David Gilmour.
So ANIMALS

No bad tastes with Pink Floyd, Boy!

I didn't know so many people like Pink Floyd. I been told that if you listen to Pink Floyd you have the worst taste in music.

What makes good music is subjective.

Pink Floyd is not based on opinion! Pink Floyd is based on The Life of The Music!

BTW: Why, ainwood, why?

There are good songs in it, but the album is not so good at all

I havent listened to any of them for a long time, but i used to like Animals the most. The solo in Dogs was my favourite :) Also i like the cover of the album (i would like to go see that landmark again) :)

I like Sheep- it's the best Pink Floyd song for me!

What you mean with *their*??? ;)

My Absolute favourite is wish you were here...

Ummagumma, the Wall, animals and saucerfull of secrets are also nice though... in fact they are all very nice... couldn't do without any of the others either :(

I voted for Wish You Were Here. Although I would have voted for Relics if it had been included. Yes, technically a complilation album but it was the first album release of "Arnold Layne", "Julia Dream" and "See Emily Play" previously only singles.

He he... I think you know. Did Pink Floyd ever perform songs from 'The Final Cut' live after Waters left? ;)

Oh, I know... Now I understand, but I think that this songs are really their!(Pink Floyd's and Rodger's)

Where's Relics?

EDIT: Well, I'd vote, but it's just not worth it without Relics, IMO.

Dark Side of the Moon. I just got high school basement deja vu'. :scared:
