The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

Don't worry VeBear, I am my own man and Arpad will look however I make him look until someone else does better.

Anyway, based on your sig I took the little political compass test and apparently I am Economic Left/Right a -6.75 and Social Libertarian/Authoritarian a -6.67. So I don't know. I won't put it in my sig, but that's where The Capo stands. :goodjob:

Time for bed...

EDIT: Apparently I am in the same area as Gandhi and Nelson Mandela... which leads to me to believe that this test is either :):):):):):):):), or I am way more awesome than I already thought I was. :goodjob:

I can't do those tests. I'm sort of a "whatever works" kind of guy economically, since I know that what is a good idea at one point will not remain a good idea, due to the human element. Then socially... eh, I guess I'm sort of a state's rights kind of guy. Let Backwoodsistan remain Backwoodsistan if it wants, that way it doesn't ruin the neighboring states of Oldpersonville and Businessmanland. I've lived in enough states to know that it's a bad idea for any state to have much say over what goes on with the other states.

Chaos Theory + learning multiple schools of economics + obsession with foreign politics = Unplacable on a 4-way grid. I'm one exploding butterfly in Syria away from supporting a tax hike.

Ask and you shall receive... I'll do it, but give me a few (at LEAST three) weeks.
That's okay. I'll start to write my diploma soon anyways, so no time for modding. At the moment, it's planned that I start on september 13th, but there's chance for further delay. Anyways, once I've started to work on the diploma, christmas is the earliest time when I could upload a new version - I guess that would be enough time for you.

Also, your idea of the spirit is probably correct. Looks like you are the right person to do this!

Yeah, I am also sceptical towards civ5. I disliked civ 3 pretty much and I see a pretty good chance that civ 5 will be a step towards the wrong direction again.

And no: I won't participate on this political compass thing and won't mention my views. I always though that those compasses are inaccurate. Phrases like left / right are outdated IMO. It needs time and talking to correctly determine the political view of someone.

Of course they are outdatet, i just liked that i was/were not that far away from Gandhi :D
And btw, capo, since that test put you not that far away from me, i trust you to not listen to those conservative old fools and pick pic #1 ;)

Hey veBear, even if you're jealous that I chose the correct choice of pic#2, it does not mean thar you can call me names.

There is nothing wrong with being conservative, it just means that ultimatley people will think you are an idiot a few years before they think I am an idiot.

EDIT: You should change your name from "possible dictator" to "potential dictator," I think it works better that way...

I wouldn't say I'm a conservative. I accept the Theory of Evolution, never did like George W. Bush, and was never fond of the Republicans' ideas. Oh, and I know how to mod.;)

I guess you could say that I'm currently on the line between a Republican and Democrat.

Vebear, everyone knows that the world is a cube, just look at Spore!

Either what? What is that smiley word? Also, Im like -8.5 L/R by -1.5 SL/A, but I removed that to make my signature match my User Title and Avatar.

That's what they want you to think.

As for Arpad, do we really need yet another Hungarian LH?

Well, we only have an Árpád, so it's not a new LH, only a new version. Not to mention that The Capo almost finished him, at least v1. So it's a bit too late to ask whether we really need him.

What the... I've been teaching liberals how to make Leaderheads my conservative friends will disown me.

Well there you have it a conservative was ahead of liberals on blender

PS - if you care I'm not the bible thumping type (despite my avatar) - conservatives usually fall down to 1) defense 2)economic/small govt and 3) social/christian conservative blocks. I generally rank my conservativism in that order but heavilty weighted on the first two (I am from SoCal after all). Have a nice day!

Back on LH making... I'm on travel for work in DC at the moment so I should have time to work on some LHs this week.

Well, at least they say they are pro-defense, pro-economics/free market, and pro-small government. But let's see, they vote against bills to increase pay and benefits for soldiers while at the same time getting them into stupid and sometimes secret conflicts that are entirely unnecessary and wasteful, they continue to support policies that support corporations rather than small business (and the corporate system in America is not free market at all), and if you compare government increases of republican/conservative presidents with those of democrats the ONLY one that increases the government (and their reach) more than any republican is FDR. Not to mention their insistance on lowering taxes and spending government money in a completely irresponsible way. I forget who said this, but it's a great quote "Conservatives say government doesn't work, and then get elected and prove themselves right." So I think you should add "4) being full of crap" to your list. ;)

LOL, you're coming to DC? That's funny, I'm going to follow you around.

P.J. O'Rourke said something similar:

The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work, and then they get elected and prove it.

Dido has the "playing with ponytail" Isabela animation but doesn't come with a ponytail, so she grips air.

Why did you make her neck/collarbone area more tan than the rest of her chest?

Catherine. The "playing with ponytail" animation is from Catherine. The profile/praying animation is Isabella's. It is a good point, though, but there are many animations that use that animation without a ponytail to play with.

LOL, you're coming to DC? That's funny, I'm going to follow you around.

I'm here until friday morning. staying in crystal city. why are the roads all confusing? symbolic I'd say.

As for dido - swappingit with another animation will easily solve it.

I am a bit worried that my thread will turn into a political thing, and I'd like to avoid that. So why don't we put this to bed?

Is that a clinton quote?

These roads are confusing because the east coast is the USAs "old world" that was inhabited before they had really thought to make a plan to what they were going to do. There was no city planning over on the east coast. They thought it would be good enough to have a 1/2 mile one lane road lane, because you know that is all anyone would ever need. I'm from Phoenix myself and really miss straight roads and planned cities at the moment living in Virginia.

St. Augustine's pretty well planned out, though.
