I'm just going to resculpt Gandhi's nose, I don't think the changes are that drastic that I need to replace the nose entirely. If that fails I'll use Shaka's.

@ cfkane: thanks, yeah the lighting looks awesome. These screens do this LH no justice by the way, it looks WAY better in-game.

Not sure if he patrols these forums or not, but I just wanted to show Tony "Garret Sidzaka" Kiehl (I probably misspelled something there) that I am, in fact, working on his Subcomandante Marcos LH. Here's a preview:

This is probably around 25% finished, if even that, so there will be a lot of improvements on it, but this is a pretty good idea of what he will eventually look like. Everything will get reskinned though.

Oh yes, and by the way; he'll have an AK and a pipe before he's finished.

EDIT: Tomorrow I'll have updated previews of all the LHs I am working on right now. Except for the Hittite, who I haven't started on yet.

I'm glad to see The_J is excited, I'm not sure if I'll have the previews finished today as I thought, there are a few issues still. But I'll have an Aborigine in-game shot in an hour or so. For now I have made another helmet mock-up for Arpad, does this look better?

Very nice. The only thing I could really suggest would be to make his lips and his mustache wider (I'd suggest just the mustache, but I don't know if that could be done well without making it seem disproportionate to the lips.)

I'll try making the mustache wider, but I was mainly asking about the helmet. I'm not finished with anything else at this point.

Moving right along, the only Aborigine leader/personality I could really find was Yagan, so this LH will from now on officially be Yagan. He was killed when he was 38, so I had to make the LH younger looking (all I did was make the hair darker), I replaced the mustache but this required me to remove Gandhi's, and because of this there are a couple of holes I need to fix above his lip. I also flattened and widened his nose. Here he is right now:

He is basically finished other than the issues I mentioned. Just a few touch-ups here and there and Yagan should be ready for release. Although he will be part of four I am releasing together (Marcos, Cavour, a Hittite LH and Yagan), Arpad will be the NEXT to be released, I just want to make sure he is as good as possible for the important Hungarian community here at CFC.

Next up will be Camillo Benso, conte di Cavour who I believe was requested by Kochman. You may have noticed Chiang kai Shek was not listed there, that is because he will be part of the next set.

Yagan looks really good, nose is a big improvement. I'd still prefer brown eyes but I'm sure I can figure out how to change that myself. However I really preferred the white hair and beard. I understand why you changed them but could you also include the white hair/beard textures so we have the option to swap them?

I liked the white-haired version as well, but it wouldn't make sense for Yagan and I can't really think of another Aborigine leader to use that would look like this. But I will include an "older" option as well.

Thanks . I'll probably use him as some semi-mythological leader. I have one in mind but I cannot remember the name and wikipedia isn't helping. Will he be released when done or with the set of 4? Looking forward to the Hittite leader btw.

EDIT: Haven't been commenting on Arpad as I know next to nothing about him and am rolling my eyes a bit at yet another Hungarian leader... but he's looking mighty good so far and I will use him regardless

Wonderful work as always, Capo. I do miss the eagle shape on top of Arpad's helmet - it was very unique - but the model is looking very nice regardless. I have just the use for him too....

Yagan is awesome. It really makes me wish that the Aborigines were more monumental. He'd probably be perfect for a Colonization mod.

I was going to try to get an in-game Cavour preview, but I'm having a few issues with texturing right now. But here's a preview of what it looks like so far...

Spoiler :

The only problem I'm having at this point is working with Lincoln's suit, which I am going to use on this LH. I am going to add another decoration to him, I think, but I haven't decided yet. I also already have a great BG image for him, so as soon as I get that suit issue handled I'll put up a better preview.

EDIT: I think I'm going to thicken his beard a bit on the sides (around the jaw area), and if anybody else had any other suggestions that'd be good. His jacket will be either brown, or light grey with black collar and trim.

I like Árpáds helmet, too. Although you might consider to work a little on the texture. It's pretty obvious where you got the golden part from. The rest of the texture looks pretty good already.
