It's so typical of people who buy and sell Pepsi to resort to violence. But hey, it's not like Pepsi has WMD's or anything. So we're fine.

Also, first they steal the cola from coca-cola, and now this!?! Hang them!

Everybody on the east coast says "soda" which is yet another great example of how lame the east coast is.

Besides, this thread cements my theory that the majority of people are idiots, since if they were otherwise all the votes would be going to Pepsi.

Not a problem.

Interesting on two counts:

(1). I would have assumed that WalMart would decide who gets what shelf space, which would be dictated by $; I'm surprised the truck drivers have any say in it at all. Certainly not enough to pick their own shelves?

(2). I find the level of company loyalty incredible. If I ever punch someone in the face because he works for a competitor, give me an MRI.

One thing I don't get is the red.. How can sprite be a 'coke' ?

One of my former teachers once informed me that, when she went down south (if I am recalling this correctly) that they would tag on the drink of choice to the word Coke.

Mountain Dew-Coke ?

well in the south everything is coke

i like coke better than pepsi but id drink either one it doesnt matter to me

So if you asked someone to go to the store and get you a coke, you could get, say, a sprite? Just wondering.

I drink Mt Dew and Vault... So my loyalties are split...

Anyway when refering to soda in general I usually say "Dew", though I use soda and Coke sometimes too...

well in Alabama coke is just a word for soda like pop is the word for soda in Minnesota, so if you were to ask a bunch of southerns what drink they want from the store they'll all say coke unless someone really wants a pepsi for example

I don't see how people can decently support a company, Pepsi, that is nothing but an ersatz of another product, Coca-Cola. Way to not reward innovation.

I'm not even going over how Pepsi got the formula or anything.

Probably because anything was a Coke for a long time; there'd be Coke syrup, soda water, and some flavoring. So before you'd have Sprite or something, you could get a lemon Coke, a cherry Coke, a chocolate Coke...

Just a guess, but Coca-Cola pretty much owns this city, so everything is a Coke anyway.

I suppose; I've gone into a restaurant before and had this conversation:

Me: I'd like a Coke.
Server: What kind?
Me: A Sprite.
