Page 1.8. In retrospect, I should have worked on the trees a bit more - they look a little too wrinkly.

Issue 1.9's bonus page. I'll be including these primarily to answer questions, share trivia, or promote funny strips that are volunteered.

That's it for now... onto Issue 2! :p ...which will hopefully be longer.

Kind of plain but eh, the beginning's always slow.

I'll have to tell my art teacher this is why I prefer to be a cartoonist over a still lifer. I cannot imagine how much of a pain water would be with realism.

Remember keeds, boil your water before you drink it, otherwise whatever crap's in it will make you hallucinate you're a blue speedy spiky hedgehog.

He may have Fleetway Sonic's knack for plans, but even he makes mistakes. Also a homage.

Thinking is useful. Thinking is necessary.

Thinking is boooorrrriiiiiinnnng.

Caution may pay off, but recklessness pays off now.

I hope that was addressed at me, which would mean I'm making some improvements! The only real ones being I'm using actual shading now due to a lack of a convenient "oh it's night time" excuse, that and I'm using three tones now, rather than just two.

Regardless, to justify this response I give this:

Not too pleased with it, but eh, at least I can get to some actual story now. :p

...a buff Pikachu.

Thank you flyingchicken. That made my day. xD

I also spot an aristocrat doing something reminiscent of the "Haters gonna hate!" walk.

1.21 Gigawatts = Superbuff Pikachu! ;)

I took another one of my drawings I did on paper and tried to redraw it on the computer.

I'm probably doing it wrong if it takes longer to draw something digitally then it does to do a painting. I started it at the beginning of last month.

So when are you going commercial?

Here are some drawings of mine.

Not the best picture quality but something I did for my art final.

Wow that's good shading.

Charcoal is amazing, even it spreads like kudzu.

You should have seen what my classmates and teacher would make...

Think of it this way: if I turned to look at their work, I'd suddenly want to stop what I was doing and go home. :(

They weren't wrong. I failed art at school. At one point I could have done a course at a college, but I showed them some of my drawings and they thought they were bad.

Their loss.

Tani: Now you impress me. :p
