I agree that we should be able to trade for both Const & Corp next turn. Not sure where to build Sushi, but I disagree that a 3-pop-whip is strictly necessary. A 2pop whip will suffice IMHO.

On boats, I might have gone a bit overboard with the Galleons (sorry about the pun), a couple more frigates would be nice though.

@Lymond: you around or still having saturday night fever?
 
In my limited experience AI can be reluctant to trade Corporation but lets see what happens.

Lymond seems to be quite busy with RL, Sgotm and coaching Joe in his spare time so maybe we could consider skipping him unless we hear otherwise in the next couple of days.

Founding corps in best cash city seems pretty standard.
 
usualy, a corp is a 3pop whip with 0 hammer on it.
And i'm 100% not to waste a turn for propagation.
at least 1 corp turn 0, 1 turn 1, 2-3 turn 2...

That mean when a city is converted, it 3 pop whip instantly a fresh corp (including cap) and then prepare a 1-2 turn whiped corp (to be defined with each city).
A 1 turn corp production without whip should not be possible before IW.

In view of general apathy I didn´t see the value of posting a plan and waiting a week for a few comments.

Played a few turns. Peace with Wishy-Washy, war with Qin (not going well), advancing against SB, second front vs SB. Traded for constitution, had to research corp ourselves (as anticipated), TM to Ulundi raised 1900g which helps of course. Just got corp and whipped 3 more banks. Where we gonna put Wall Street?
 
at the same place we put suchi (that's obvious), so i presume in cap. (we don't have any shrine and cap is the only place with market and grocery).

but Wall street will have to wait for at least 2 corps be built.

If i read right, qin declared (or most likely got bribed)? we lost some ships ?
we were at war with washinghton, don't remember that :o

Played 13 turns.

Sushi was indeed founded in Uruk which has gone on to build Wall Street (due in 2 turns) without building executives beforehand.

Techwise we´ve traded for constitution and researched Corporation, RP and rifling, currently researching steam on the way to RR for trains and Mining Inc, we have a GE waiting.

We got Peace with Washy for 65g in 1575, looks like we declared on him in 1505 for reasons that remain slightly unclear, maybe mutual military with Shaka who peaced out with Washy in 1600.

We captured Poverty Point in 1585, the same turn as an AP resolution to end the war with SB. I voted no rather than never, everyone else voted yes so we´ve been at peace. Peace treaty expires next turn and we´ve got a couple of stacks waiting, however SB is now only 6 turns from rifling :eek: so maybe I should have defied after all :blush:.

Declared on China in 1575, captured Chengdu in 1580 and managed to hold it. Captured Guangzhou in 1625 and culture bombed it with a spare GA with minimal effect. We´ve got some units heading towards Beijing, 4 galleons are waiting for them so wé´ve making slow progress there.

We´ve still got a GS and a GA loitering as well as the GE. I´ve been stacking workers in Eridu. Nanjing has just finished IW.

I traded copper to Bod for wheat.

Overall not a great set but not a complete disaster.

don't really get we are building market and library while we should be building troops or money or the use of GA for culture bomb.
but well what's done is done... maybe you could take a bit of time to talk before playing. even it's only with me :(

well, for next set: win the dual war, propagate suchi. try to bribe an AI, trade for cavalry, go to AL. more complete PPP a bit latter.

priorities: develop sushi, kill chinese, prepare for Vox...

uruk: 3 pop whip corp, 1T corp, finish EDIT: wall street

Ur and harrapan will become constant corp producer, while each converted city build a 2 turn whip corp in the city until all main land is converted.

for chinese, take tainjing then small island shandong with available troops, then reinforce with more troops to take macau island.

for SB, not sure about declare.
Vox will win in 60 turns of culture victory. we need to plan an oversea invasion + inland attack now.

will trade for MT against biology then sent 6 ships full of cannons / riffle/ mace near new york and cavalry force against memphis. will not declare but just preparing.
If i figure i have enought forces, i'll declare SB but just for cahokias.

for tech, finish steam then stock some gold for upgrade, cost of sushi spread and bribery (if possible) place holder will be railroad obviously.

for hammer time, finish building started, then only military, corp and wealth. we will need some boats also.

not sure about a GA now, we can keep it for AL.
keep GE for MC anyway.

Looking forward to see how muich difference Sushi makes. If we´re going corporate then getting RR for Minc seems like it should be a priority.

SB should be good for at least a couple of cities, maybe more.

We only need to capture (raze?) one legendary city.

Looks good to me. Once we declare was on Lincoln we can have Shaka join us. Boudica is planing a new war against Washington I assume.

Is there any reason to care about SB?

SB is just easy land and troops training. There is nothing to protect him (in sight). As i said, maybe just for cahokias and mounted thing. I'll see anyway.

Suchi is expencive but broken. It is not for nothing that everyone wanting to perform hight performance go throught suchi. I made one game on archipelagos not so long ago and suchi was really impressive with the whip capacity and the massive use of specialists.

Keep one china for nuke is an idea :) but SB can be used the same way in the future.
 
SB will have rifles in a few turns. We could just stomp Lincoln instead together with Shaka.
 
did played 3 turns.
took china city T0 and trade for MT+change to bureau with vox. bureau was important because, his timeline for winning culture just got longer by 20 turns (well, until he swap back to free speech) but i did get more turns.

T1 AP resolution : china peace. China does not deserve a defy. I was sure it would pass. As bejing is no longer threaten, and china limited on 2 small islands, i just vote no and ask china for money for peace.
The same turn, cancel forced peace with SB and attack using 3 stacks

T2 I'm in position to begin to attack or bombard SB cities next turn. not sure he will get riffling one day :)
Steam is in, some levee are starting while some cav were whiped. 3 cities have suchi right now + 2 next turn.
I'm preparing for vox invading fleet but after SB i think. We have some time now.
 
Well done making Vox abandon the abomination that is free speech.
