The Fall of Byzantium

I haven't "won" it, but it is a lot of fun. I haven't tried playing as the Mongols yet but in the few games I did try the Mongols seem come out highest in score. I like the financial civs so I've played Spain and Almohad; I could see Venice would be difficult. When I had Almohad I thought I was doing well but somehow those Mongols seemed to spawn at an incredible rate. I really enjoy this scenario, a lot better than that Civ V stuff which strikes me as a game wandering around in sense of a purpose (but it does have nicer graphics.)

Thanks.:)

The Latin Empire is waayy to strong. If I'm not correct, the Latin Empire was unstable and collasped very quickly. I'm the Ottomans and I'm reenacting the conquests of Mehmed and Suliman and things look bleak for the rest of the world...

I like challenges, so I played on Deity level as Serbia, which starts with only one city, Ras. Other settings were as default for this scenario (epic game speed, etc.). I played until moment in which my victory seems inevitable. That moment was turn 185 (65 turns left till end of scenario), when I got infantry, and I was first in score, because I have already conquered some opponents. Except me, only financial peaceful Almohads had infantry. If I would play the remaining 65 turns, it would probably result in score victory, or, less likely, domination :)
Excellent scenario
