Well, i have never seen an episode of the history channel's celebrated series "Ancient Aliens". However i certainly have seen more than a hundred times the picture of its presenter and main force behind this series...

I was a bit- but not entirely- surprised to learn that he is Greek. He was born in Switzerland, and later emigrated to the USA where he achieved infamy with that aforementioned show.

I gather from the wiki article that his main thesis is that aliens are possibly behind virtually all human civilization. He got his university degree from a New York college called "Ithaca" (quite aptly), it was a Bachelor degree in "sports information and communication".

I did not even know such a degree existed, let alone its tenuous relevance to being an authority on ancient aliens, although i could easily accept that most american athletes live in another universe.

He is 35 years old, and here is his most famous image:

It is ussually befouled with some witticism, almost always in the form of a first statement or question, followed by the answer or reflection that it was about aliens.

Here is probably my favorite of those:

This one is pretty good too:

Is there any episode of the History Channel's Ancient Aliens series worth watching as entertainment?

Being a shipwreck victim from the Centauri Republic, he damn well knows that aliens messed with our genes.

How in the blue blazes does that make anyone Greek? Oh...wait, you're doing that silly old world "blood" thing, aren't you?

Well, the name is Greek...

I watched a season or two of Ancient Aliens as late-night entertainment when I couldn't sleep. It's great comedy programming for all ages!

If Ancient Aliens visited, I'd think we'd find more than just stone carvings of them. IMO, ancient people had active imaginations much the same as we do today which shy you see carvings and depictions of things that seem alien.

Disguises man, disguises! You really think Thor looked like a big honkin' Norseman?

That's nuthin'. My brother has a bachelors degree in no less than "leisure management" and as a consequence, literally surfs six days a week and doesn't even consider taking the day seriously until after lunch time.

He takes great pride in pointing out during drunken debates that he is "the most educated man in the room"
