 if they are as good as your cities, it is really a great news!

I'm working hard on them, but I'm not so talented as Kinboat or other units creators... :hmm: :suicide:

Here's a preview of my Etruscan Chimarea unit.

I hope you'll like it...

Mod looks great!
Downloading as i type... :)

Well i downloaded it, but got this extracting error. :(
It only seemed to be that one file, so perhaps somebody could just post the file and tell me where to put it. :)
Edit: Well, I managed to find time to download it again, and altho this time other files were corrupted, i managed to replace the previous file, so hopefully all will go well.

Downloaded. Took about 10 minutes :p

Is this a 1.22 scenario or 1.15? Cant wait to try, as it looks like good work.

Hey Paali, dare to play a PBEM with this one someday ? I've never played any mod at all in Civ3, due to my French version, but maybe I could work things out (see my post in TAM thread 5 min ago). We could try to start one in a few months if it works for me and when I have played some games.

@LBPB : Paalikles and I are CDZ members, so you could expect PBEMs being played and spoilers being written. Maaayyybeee !!

Why not add the Samnites? Also, if you are looking for a civilization to put between the Harappans and the others, try the Elamites. Their capital was at Susa (yes, that Susa.) Also, on this map, there is the Shatt el'Arab, which did not even exist during those days, as the Tigris and Euphrates drained into the Persian Gulf seperately in those days. I don't know how many maps have made that same mistake! Arghh!

The Samnites is a nice idea, and could be a nice addition. However do you have an idea for their Units / Leader / Cities / ... ? :mischief:

For the Elamite, you think that their too few civs in this area at the moment ?

Damn the map ! I had changed this on an updated map, but I forgot to unclude it in the Mod :wallbash: Me Stupid !

@Paalike & Warman17
I've not updated my own version of conquest.

I knew it would pay to not to update :D

For the Samnites, well…Many cities we think of as Roman were actually founded by the Samnites…Beneventum for one, but it was known by some other name…and the Samnites influenced the Romans in other ways as well. Since most Italian peoples during the time of the Samnite Wars used a formation similar to the legion, while the Romans during that time used something like a phalanx, a possible unique unit for the Samnites could be a Samnite Legion. Actually, ‘warband’ would be more accurate, but I digress. As for a leader name, you can always do some research on the internet, rake through the library, find an Oscan name, tack on ‘King’ at the beginning, and use that. Simple enough!

Just downloaded it, took me around 10-15 minutes. :D Gotta love DSL speed (around 150 Kb/s). I will soon try it with my French version ; hopefully with the changes I made, I should be able to play it. I will soon know...

This happened while I was playing. It popped up when I built the prophet unit as the hebrews.
