Sarevok,

It sounds like a good idea. I use +2HP for Dreadnougts
in the historical version of The Old Empires, but I will
probably increase that.

As I said earlier I think all the major powers with the
exception of The Ottoman Empire should be able to
build Dreadnoughts from the start. (BTW: The Ottomans
had 2 Dreadnoughts on order: Agincourt and Erin, but
the British took them over).

All the other major powers had Dreadnoughts in
"the pipeline".

Sarevok,

No need to rush 1.1.

There will probably come more suggestions
on changes.

ok, 1.1 is scheduled for about a week or 2. Im fairly busy this week, but mabye I can get it next week. Also consider the Election in DG4 im in (and winning :) ) as it may slow down my update time a little bit as ill be focused on that.

I thikn you will like it Deceasedhorse, its alot better than the BETA's

I remember the hoards of info you brought into TOE concerning resources. You still have those sources on you by chance?

It can take me a few days to look for them again, but I'll do asap.

Sarevok,

I think iron should be the only required resource
for building Dreadnoughts.

No Dreadnought could not be completed or used
due to lack of oil.

@Rocoteh & Sarevok,

Since dreadnoughts used coal as their primary fuel source, coal should be a required resource for building those ships.
But then again iron and coal should be quite abundand resources, after all iron is one of the most common heavier atoms in the upper earth crust! :)

Kristian95,

I agree. You are right.

It should be iron and coal.

Firstly, I admit I haven't checked if these ideas are already implemented.... but just a few things that occoured to me could be used :)

I know there's already been used extra improvements to show the power of the Ruhr area. Perhaps the industrial might / power of the Ruhr district could be further enhanced by giving one of the Ruhr cities access to both Coal and Iron, and giving it the small wonder "Ironworks"...

Btw, I think the major powers should all have heroic epics and military academies....

Just my 2 cents :)

Kristian95,

The idea on the Ruhr-area is good, though the
"Ruhr-factories" now already existing should reflect
the industrial power of the Ruhr.

If its enough remains to seen.

The Major power starts with
Military academies and Heroic Epics.

With regard to the comment from The Last Conformist,
I would like to see how effective AI is to use Army-type
units in Conquests.

The last weeks I have been done 75% editor-work
and limited playtesting.

Overall I think there is a need for threads on how AI works.
Those existing seems to have faded away.

@Rocoteh,

Sure :) I'm just popping up a few ideas, as much for inspiration, and if there are any bits of it that can be used, or inspire some other good ideas, I'm more than pleased :)
I try to contribute in my own small way, as a token of apprechiation for you guys who make great scenarios for our favourite game :)

Kristian95,

I am looking forward to more ideas and comments
from you. Feedback, ideas, comments and playtest-reports
that makes a scenario living and creates the ground
for further development, otherwise it fades away.

The fleet-in-being concept used by many nations
during WWI was really a strange idea.

The whole idea was that the navy should not be used,
instead it should function as a costant threat.

The fate of the German Navy during WWI shows
that it was really a bad idea.

1 major naval combat (Jutland) during more than 4 years
of war.
