The many questions-not-worth-their-own-thread question thread XV

I was sorting out my notes. I found some stuff from shortly pre-concussion that I have no memory of whatsoever. Is this a normal occurance for your memory to just be wiped clean of some things after a concussion?

Also is there a term for this? I dont think amnesia really covers it as I thought that meant you forget everything.

Concussions do sometimes come with Post-Traumatic amnesia. I'm not sure if not remebering something fairly routine (note-taking) from a couple of months ago counts though, as your memory of normal events blur into each other after a few weeks.

This may actually be worth its own thread, but I'd figure that I should ask here first.

Does anyone know of any books, short stories, etc (besides Doctor Who and Star Trek) about civilization building Dinosaurs who at the end of the Cretaceous spot the meteor and take steps to survive (like leaving the planet, living underground, etc) or something similar.

There was an SF book written about 1990, including a race of evolved raptors who turned up on an asteroid which happened to be an alien generation ship.
The book was so horrible that I've forgotten all other details.
