Well my form of arthritis is actually related to inflammation and swelling. One time it swelled about 3 times its regular size.

Yeah. I was just wondering how much the needle hurts or what, especially in the knee.

Question: Sometimes, on VHS, the picture gets "wobbly", especially after exposure to a fridge magnet -- distortion. Is there a proper term for this? I call it "magnetic distortion" but I dont think its the right term.

I might be wrong, but I thought it was called "tracking".

Is there a way to just block one person via router from visiting a website? My father blocked my brother from visiting a game site, but unfortunately, I like to visit that site quite often. I know our router password, and I could set it to give me special access, but I would like a more permanent solution so that I wouldn't have to remove that special access every time that I'm done.

If its by computer and you have access to that computer you can do something with the hosts file.

Today my German Military Surplus Flectar camo cap arrived in the mail (fulfilling last years New Years resolution) and I noticed to things on the tag. The first thing is the letters MP were written on it in what looks like blue ink, dose this mean it was used by German military police or could it be the previous owners initials? The tag also has something printed in German, "schadstoffgepruft"
"Alkalifreie, aufhellerfreie Waschmittel verwenden, intensiv spulen"
, can any German speakers translate this for me please?

schadstoffgepruft= tested for contaniments
Alkalifreie, aufhellerfreie Waschmittel verwenden, = You need to use a detergent that is free of Alkali and Bleach (literal: Alkalifree, bleachfree* detergent use)
intensiv spulen = You need to rins it very good (literal: Intensive rinse)

*I'm not a 100% sure about the bleach. It means: Optical brightener if that helps

A woman I know asked me to be a Latin tutor for her kid, and she didn't mention a particular salary, basically putting that ball in my court. What would be a reasonable offer?

Look up what "professional" tutors charge in your area, and charge a bit less than that.

Good idea. A family asked me to teach drums to their son, and I take 20 dollars for a half hour lesson, which is significantly less than the costs of lessons for other teachers around here. Plus the mother said that I am one of the best teachers she has ever seen. I don't know if that was just her being nice or if it was true, but either way: :smug:

I figured it was washing instructions but I didn't know exactly what, thanks.:goodjob:

Has anybody ever tried using cup- or eye-hooks for keeping cables together and off the floor? If so, did it work?

Cup hooks, yes. It entirely depends on the weight of the cable and what your cup hook is placed in. If it's in a cheap wood shelf it'll probably get ripped out rather easily, same if the cables are quite heavy.

Have you seen that video of the girl explaining he different meanings of "^^", etc with her facial expression and her hands?
I've tried to find that video again and the word for these signs. Does any of you know it? It's ungoogable.

Yeah, that's the one. Thanks!

Emoticons was the word for it.
