I'd propose a ban on peer pressure, but I wouldn't pass an Act of Parliament to do it. I'd simply get everyone to agree on banning it and to make people feel unwelcome if they tried it.

Why is it that people think Africa is a single country, but don't do the same for the other continents?

I don't think that most people do. But most people, in the US at any rate, know little about individual African nations. And don't learn enough to recognize diversity among them.

The gum where my wisdom tooth is coming through. When I disturb it by mistake (my drinking straw slipped and poked it) blood comes out. It clots easily though. My mom says that "it's normal" but upon further questioning she didn't have wisdom teeth and doesn't actually know anything about dental. Should I worry? I can't afford a dentist until my student loan comes in... that is if it's not too expensive...

I don't know about your neighborhood, but stateside extractions run from $75-200, depending on your oral surgeon, assuming you need one. If your wisdom teeth do not require pulling, it'll almost definitely be less than that. That's just giving you a simple reference point to start with pricewise.

I'm in Canada and prices are different here.

Because you mention the UHC in Canada it does not cover dental.

What exactly do you mean? I've been here since 2007
