Maybe, maybe not, but I don't think it is unreasonable to expect basic standards of spelling and grammar, because a computer can correct those fairly easily. If a mod isn't willing to put his stuff through Word, at the very least, I don't see any reason to take his commitment seriously. I mean, is that really too much to expect?

Please, do not use that as an insult. It is degradating towards the members of society that actually suffer from Down Syndrome to use their illness as an insult towards someone else's intelligence. They can be as intelligent as any other person, the problem is that their minds work differently than other people's and thus they seem to be stupid. However, I have known boys and girls my own age that have Down Syndrome and, despite that, they are fairly intelligent. There was also a news a few months ago about a man that has Down Syndrome and managed to get a degree and now teaches schoolchildren, all of whom like him because he is very nice and teaches them greatly.
