A missile streaked in above Seoul. The brilliant white spear of death exploded at 30KM, releasing eight smaller warheads.
SDIX-1 reacted quickly. Almost immediately, three of the warheads spiraled out of control, their systems scrambled and malfunctioning. Each of the four bombers fired 122mm shells at the remaining four warheads. Most shells missed, but two of the MIRV bombs were shot down.
SDIX-1/2 accelerated, having no time to reload, and rammed the seventh bomb. The aircraft's wing separated at the #5 ramjet as the missile shattered under the force of impact.
One warhead descended below SDIX-1.
Detonation Confirmed.

In the sea of Japan, the immensely powerful nuclear detonations caused a series of massive waves, capsizing numerous fishing vessels and sending them 100s of meters below the surface in seconds.
In the recesses of the Japanese countryside, a flat wave of destruction toppled houses, trees, hills, anything in its path. It was followed by a fireball which consumed the bodies.

The shockwave reached the city wharf before the fireball did, lifting the warship docked there into the air and dashing it against the warehouse district in a testimony to the construction of the vessel.
In the dictatorial palace, two women held each other as the fire engulfed them. In the snap of a wrist, Kizzie killed Aung effortlessly. Naval Squadron PDZ-92 was a flurry of activity. They had ceased their rush north as a large Hawai'i'an fleet had moved into position to stop them. The battlecruisers fought, releasing their missiles and VTOL strike planes, as the Hawai'i'an fleet stood its ground. Numerous small Hawai'i'an escort corvettes rushed the large Korean battlecruisers. Not because they thought they could deal damage, but to distract the missiles of the larger ships from the two Hawai'i'an gun cruisers & the fleet's battleship.
As smoke rose from the battlefield, many died.

PDZ-92: "Better. We've even got the foreign minister with us, who is next in line to be Acting Dictator. On to the territories we heard survived!"
Narrator: "I hate my job. These military units love interrupting me."
