The Multipolar World (MP)

It was a fun ride guys. Btw, if this would have gone on for one more turn, I would have spent all my money on nukes and aim them at GUNS. Now I can't wait for MP 2!

I blame my suckiness on grounds that I didn't know I was supposed to nuke the Pope

It is not like I didn't tell you Mosher :p

China incites revolt, and the rebels immediately join CHINA?!

Yes. It counts as an occupation!

Wait.

You... Made oz... Give Christos... Money...

It was strategically in Oz' interest to have Hawai'i and China ruin eachother so it could emerge as the main power.

And you wonder why some players have such a big problem with you.

No, I wonder why there's such dissatisfaction with my GMing style and yet at least a dozen sign up each IOT. :p

Also, in the case of Oz being GM abuse.

Most. Deffinately.

It's abuse to make the same actions anyone can make? :p

It's not my fault no one ever builds spy forces. So I decided to give the players a wake up call! I give advice all the time but no one seems to take it so I decided to show it the hard way... :p

Also, Oz never was a real NPC. It was a temporary NPC untill I would have the time to take the reins (which took longer than expected)

Well you used it pretty much exclusively on CI nations; I was building a spy network but my crappy economy at the time wouldn't let it really build; and no sane player would actually give christos money. No offense intended, it'll just inevitably end bad for everyone. kinda like it did.

Not bad for me! :mischief: GUNS considered giving him money for the same reason Oz did, to build him up as a distraction from our own rise. We never did it, but only because we figured we didn't need to. :p

I told you already. Drug addiction.

I... no, don't even get me started on this.

Well the Papal States was getting 10% off Christos in tithes, so the Papal States was doing its bit to balance out Australian financial impropriety :p

only retroactive :p

The money stream from Oz to Xjinjang stopped as soon as I took charge :p

Sone already explained that; he meant to type C.

Yes! I only worked to make it glorious for your return!

Well you used it pretty much exclusively on CI nations;

Bias is okay if it's strategically-motivated. It targeted CI nations because League members were waging Cold war on the CI.

Then when the CNC was formed, it naturally saw the opportunity to grow in power, so as to weaken Hawai'i's grip, and went elsewhere.

Yucatan and Finland, likewise, were moving to leave the CI because they didn't like the idea Angola, despite being so weak, was still somehow the leader. Oh and of course the whole nuke thing but power's the real motivator. :p

and no sane player would actually give christos money. No offense intended, it'll just inevitably end bad for everyone. kinda like it did.

Considering many players neglected spies even AFTER the massive thefts, not all player orders are motivated by what's in their best interest. :p

Last time I listened to you Alaska was annexed by my enemy.

:p

I cannot be blamed for slipups. :p

Yucatan and Finland, likewise, were moving to leave the CI because they didn't like the idea Angola, despite being so weak, was still somehow the leader.

Maybe it was because I had done a very good job of keeping the Comintern united, and the fact that, under my leadership, the CI has lasted longer than any other alliance and still a major power?
Just because Angola was weak economically (because of something completely outside of our control) doesn't mean we weren't fit to lead.

Doesn't change the fact no nation wants to be led by someone weaker than them. Could you imagine the USA, Britain, Germany, China, India or Russia being led by Monaco? :p

If Monaco was better at keeping it all together and keeping it coherent, then yes. Being leader doesn't have anything to do with your economic or military might, it has to do with how good the nation is at leading. And Angola is a far superior leader than a couple of NPCs.
