Long-Term: Leverage existing data from CFC, SCC, and Apolyton, and possibly elsewhere to transfer data to Wikia. I will be honest in saying that although Wikisite is not terrible, I would honestly feel more confident as to the security and capability of utilizing Wikia. The difficulty is in passing their creation criteria. It is my opinion that should multiple sites be involved, a strong existing wiki be showcased, and a fairly large number of authors be demonstrated to exist, that such would be sufficient to succeed in such an endeavor, as Wikia lacks something quite approaching NESing as a concept. This would ensure more or less permanent data security and possibly greater accessibility of the Wiki to random outside forces, and thus to all three sites and NESing as a whole.

I' m thinking I did read it correctly, unless you mean 'fairly large number of authors that will contribute', and the fact we still need to finish Apolyton and update the remaining NES entries.

Huh? If you mean NESes that I didn't mark, than that's not true unless lots were started exactly 3 months ago. If you mean in general, than yes, that's true.

not sure what general or marked means.. but in the list of nes, several say they are "ongoing" when they are really not.

A NES is defined as ongoing if 1)the moderator hasn't posted saying it's dead and 2)the moderator has posted in the last 3 months. Which NESes don't meet those criteria?

I think those in SCC are dead, at least some of them. Including mine.

SCC has always had trouble keeping that sort of thing afloat, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Yo I am still forging ahead on some NES articles. Of late I've been editing the AFSNES article, because that's what I'm interested in, though I do have part of the NES2 V article to put up as soon as I finish the Great Eastern War.
