The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

Played as India and won UHV but my stability was very bad due to overextension - not sure why when most of India is in historical tiles , well i collapsed when mughals spawn and exactly on collapse every city flipped to them which is pretty bonkers. I was very ahead in tech/development and the AI jumped to 750 score instantly :D

38 Germanic axemen flooding into Egypt after wiping out the Persians, Romans, Greeks and Phoenicians. I only have 2 archers because my entire army lost to the previous 50 that attacked Jerusalem.

The barbarian empire in world builder

Looking around world builder there are hundreds and hundreds of barbarian axeman roaming around
If the AI is cognisant of the Great Wall's effects, that could be a reason. This sort of non-sense was potentially possible when it completely blocked barbarians from entering.

Adding same thing as RustyBrick - Byzantium 3000 BC start - not as crazy as his , but still pretty overwhelming , i forgot to screenshot the previous turn where i killed 7~ barbs as well. The hoover is on the biggest stack , but you can see there are like 8-10 more units spread

edit:

the air was filled with smoke and blood...
Rome was weak
The tribes grew in strength in number
As the west ripped itself to pieces, the truly righteous looked east
To Constantinople! Gods New City!

Time to make use of Byzantium's unique ability!

So nobody invented Protestantism until the Netherlands were spawned. Which is why there is no Protestant Holy City, I find this very appropriate. I wonder if there can develop a Holy City?
Spoiler Playing as Poland here. :

Same game, now with Buddhist Portugal. Sure, why not

Edit:

Congo has now built the Empire State Building in the heart of Africa now too...

No idea what's going on with this game, but I love seeing Congo doing stuff for once :D

I've seen Aztec sometimes bypass the conquerers event by meeting them on sea or even North America. But it is odd when you haven't met anyone yet.

I've done a Scientific Victory as Japan a week ago, with Aztecs (Aztecs, not Mexico) surviving till the end. In 1994

Any chance of you making a new civ 4 rfc video?

It is the year 1270 AD. Gallia has been entirely conquered by the French.
Spoiler Entirely? No! :

There is a small village in Aremorica holding out!

Edit: Dublin was still Gaelic, even as late as the 1450ies, which is the reason that guy was still around.

I was actually just trying to experiment and see if I could change the spawn date, but after getting the Dutch to spawn at 3000 BC with the same starting techs and modfiers as usual, the temptation to actually play the game from there proved too big. Absolutely stupid and silly, but honestly, this was quite enjoyable :D
