at one point the fish, clams and sheep were Turkish even though byzantium was full of wonders and had more influence on those squares it wasn't fair

Not sure if it's OMG, but here's something pretty unusual. This replay file is from a recent Roman spaceship victory. The game lasted until 1811, and Egypt never collapsed. Babylon hung on for a long time, too.

The first time I've actually seen the Arabs properly fill out North Africa.

Game 2:

This makes perfect sense historically, but I've never seen it in-game. The name translates to "Cape of Good Hope", IIRC.

The glorious colony of Chinese Congo.

Once again: makes sense, never seems to happen.

Looks like India got hit by the barb-stick. Also, Kampuchea is Taoist.

Japan took this city and capitulated Persia. They're awful colonial in this save.

Proof that we're in a bizarre, alternate universe: France has invaded Germany and Italy, and has yet to surrender to any one.

Looks like the "great Norman adventure" in Italy never ended after all.

I honestly have no idea. My guess would have to be that the Germans built it in Vienna.

Great to see so many historically accurate (if anachronistic) occurences. I especially like Norman Sicily and the restoration of Tang Samarqand (the city needs a Chinese name btw).

I've never seen Rome keeping their cities from the French (which they can't if they're not played by a human), but I've seen them retake them sometimes too.

The weirdest thing I've seen so far was a Roman Mexico, sadly I have no screenshots.
